I have the latest Version for Audacity (I think it's 2.06) but I can't find The Lame File to upload it into an Mp3 (It's actually called Lame) and I don't know how to put it in a wav file. If anyone can link me to it or tell me that would be AWESOME! I want to make a music profile on scratch ^_^ if you help THANKS!

Not really sure what you're asking. Audacity should create mp3 files on it's own. It doesn't need lame afaik. Lame is an mp3 encoder so will create mp3 files. So you don't put it in a wav file which is just another sound format.

It doesn't though. It saves it but when I click it opens up the program with the song. I wish it could be easier

You need to specify what “it” is for others to start to understand what the problem is.

As it says Audacity can not export to mp3 without the LAME MP# encoder (licensing issues). I had the same problem. When I followed these instructions it worked though…

Which of the steps in the link is difficult?

The part that is hard is actually downloading the file I downloaded it and it doesn't do anything

Also sorry im bad at explain things Im just don't know how to explain sorry I mean When I save the song it saves but doesn't create the file. It creates a file with the audacity headphones symbol and when I click on the file it opens up audacity with the songs saved changes (hope I explained a bit better)

Ah..Im not at home now so I dont have the program here. But you have to choose the EXPORT option not SAVE and then choose export as MP3.

When you do this it will ask you for the lame_enc.dll. You will have to browse to where you saved this and click on it….like it says on the link above.

Wait I got it I save the lame-file but Didn't actually download it! Because when I clicked on it it downloaded it and it worked! This was my mistake sorry but THANKS for the help!
