like what if scrather one had youtube and they have a video about their face. and it shows their face. is this allowed?

It's probably allowed, because most videos have people's faces with commentary. For example, SSSniperWolf.

Since the policy regarding face reveals is that your face cannot be the main focus of the project, I'd say that if your face is not the main focus of the video, it'd be fine. If your face is the main focus, however, I'd say no.

If they share it on scratch then that may cause issues as you are still revealing your face on the site, which still goes against the rule. If they don't then nothing can be done as scratch cannot control what a user does on an external site

Its really a personal choice to show their face to a bunch of strangers on youtube, theres nothing wrong but every time I think about it makes me anxious, anyways, I think its allowed.

I don't understand what you're sayinjg… YouTube is a completely different platform from Scratch, you can DEFINITELY show your face. If it's in a project on SCRATCH, then if the person isn't forced to do a face reveal yeah you can

Can't you put it as a pfp? griffpatch has his face as his pfp. But I think that he is allowed because he changed the colors into shades of blue. I think it is allowed to be your pfp as long as you cover up the real colors. Just add a filter!

You can put your face in a video as long as the primary purpouse of the video is not a face reveal. However, I would not reccomend this as you may recieve negative responses as well as people knowing what you look like being a huge privacy issue.

The Scratch Team can't really do anything about things on Youtube.

You can do whatever you like on youtube, but since face reveals are not allowed on scratch, you would not be allowed to share your youtube channel on here

Hello! I saw Za-chary comment on something similar to this once. What he said was that if the face isnt the focus of the project, then its fine. So, really its not that the face is wrong, its the purpose. This means you can use as many face pictures as you want in a project as long as it isnt the whole reason you made the project. In conclusion, revealing your face on youtube IS allowed! Hope this helps!
