Hey! Can you provide links to some of these projects? We can take a look at it!

Hey! Can you provide links to some of these projects? We can take a look at it!Occasionally happens to me too. I think it's a graphic rendering glitch. When I click away from the corrupted sprite, everything returns to normal and it would look like nothing had ever happened to the sprite. Refreshing the page also works if the previous method did not.

This isn't really a glitch. It's just a slight defect in the editor and happens to me as well. When a costume is edited it will occasionally flash pink in the project page.

Yeah - it's happened to me before a couple of times. I'd love to replicate the bug, so we can try to fix it. Hmm. I experienced the bug when switching from Bitmap to Vector. What about everyone else? When did you see the bug?

Hmm. The bug happened to me in October, 2013 at first. Later, it continued to happen in Spring 2014. I noticed this bug when I was editing a sprite in Bitmap and converting a Vector sprite to Bitmap.

As soon as I changed the ‘whirl’ effect to ‘ghost’ the pink rectangle disappeared (being replaced with the correct bitmap image in the vector editor). It seems the bug appears when the beta player is active* and a bitmap image is being manipulated in the vector editor.
(* Feature request: Could an indicator of when in the beta player be added?)

Bump. Still happening to me. I have a sprite, that is currently in vector. I uploaded an image to the Scratch editor using the “import” button. The image that I imported was a png and I uploaded it to vector. I'm thinking that the glitch occurs when you have a bitmap image in a vector costume.

NOTE: There is a gradient above the pink box. It is actually solid pink, but there is a gradient above it.
I have what it should look like and what it looks like in the project. Considering that it only is pink in the project viewer (not in the costume bar, the image editor, or the list of sprites ) I think that it must definitely be a rendering bug with the project viewer.
The fact that only the bitmap portion is pink is what makes it weird.

I see in your thumbnail a pink gradient - for me it's a pink solid box. Perhaps this has something to do with the transparency of the picture?

Ah… then this is normal… you might just be trying to upload something pretty large that needs time to render on the stage.Ooops, there is a gradient above it to make the project have a flickery effect. …I'm thinking that the glitch occurs when you have a bitmap image in a vector costume.I agree. In my last SDS project, I was downloading a picture of Jules Verne's head. When it's downloaded in vector mode, it showed that pink in the stage.

It happened when I used the (colour effect block).
