Updates! December 1st, 2014

Happy December! We have a small batch of updates to share with you all :]

We've added the ability to delete your account from the Account Settings page. If you choose to delete your account: The account will be placed in a “scheduled for deletion” state that lasts approx. 48 hours. If you log in within that 48 hours, the account will no longer be scheduled for deletion. If you do not login, the account will be permanently deleted.

Other updates include:
Fixed broken link to ScratchED
Popups are no longer stuck behind editor in Firefox
Fixed studio add / remove confirmation failures
New 404 page (credit to the amazing @designerd)
Prevent links to websites with unmoderated chat

Cool! Hope we don't get them hackers… maybe it would put it in the deletion state if the password was put in???

so when a profile is deleted, what happens to all its projects/studios/comments?

As a long time Scratcher, I have found new meaning to the name “Scratch”: for me, it means to “scratch that itch”, to come back again and again to realize new ideas in this toy language, even when I'm capable of creating my projects in real programming languages years later. It's a friend that helped me to pursue programming and get me to enjoy its fruit. I'm certain many others who have walked this path as well have grown fond of its importance in their life.

I LOVE them! The only thing I don't like is that I keep having to go back on account settings because I accidently clicked the delete button.
