Hello there, this thread it for New Scratchers to introduce themselves. Here, you can say why you joined Scratch, how you found out about it, how you want to use Scratch, and many other things about yourself.

If you aren't new, then please read the rules. Feel free to welcome new users, and make them feel comfortable

If you have any ideas to contribute, feel free to post and say any ideas or point out any mistakes.

Follow the community guidelines
Welcome and introduce yourself (if you want)
Always check the date of the post, therefore you can make sure you're not necroposting
Don't post off-topic spam.
Don't post random blocks. You can test these in the official testing topic
Advertise your projects. Please use the Show and Tell subform.

When welcoming new users, make sure to actually have context.
Don't try to moderate the topic. If anyone spams, or posts off-topic, then report it. And don't reply. If anyone quotes the original post, don't tell them off.
Don't be nitpicky to questions. If you can't answer a question, then don't answer it. Also, please don't tell people they should be asking questions in a different topic.
Don't just say hi, or something, introduce a user with proper detail.

Maybe you should add something about necroposting? New Scratchers do that accidentally often, so this might help.
