Um, people use GNU/Linux more. Android, Chromium OS… Think about that.
mixing mobile and desktop OSes is like comparing apples to oranges.
So technically, most don't use Linux. Most don't use Darwin. None of these have a majority (+50%)

Linux is a kernel, not an OS. Android and ChromiumOS both use the Linux kernel.

It's not the fault of Linux either :( People are just too scarred, lazy, or just straight up refuse to use it because they just MUST use that one piece of crappy proprietary software.

Please stop changing every well-meaning topic into a flamewar about how you think Linux is the best.

Help improve the Advanced Topics (Really!)
Before you create a topic:
Always search for duplicates or other similar topics before making an umbrella topic, e.g., “The Mac Topic”.
  • Is it about something you are planning on making but haven't made yet? If so, please wait to post until you have created a working prototype. This is a key factor to keeping the ATs as clean as possible.
  • The ATs aren't technical support. It is perfectly valid to ask questions about things related to programming, but not issues with external websites, apps, or devices. Most sites have their own support system; try asking there!
  • Is it related to something you are making in Scratch? (This includes OSes and other Scratch projects) If so, please post in Collaboration, Show and Tell, or another similar forum.
  • Is your topic questionably “advanced”? Try browsing the other forums to see if your topic fits better in one of those.
  • Issues with Scratch itself should be put in Bugs and Glitches.
Before you post: Is what you're posting likely to start an argument or derail the thread (e.g., browsers, operating systems)? If so, please re-think your post!

Okay, let's talk about how we could rickroll people until they stop using closed-source software! What about opening an Electron app in kiosk mode to the rickroll video whenever someone on Windows runs
npm i
to install NodeJS packages you've made?

Ok 9pfs,
Purposeful making rick rolls in PRs is not an “advanced way to rick roll someone” its an inconvenience.

I'm not suggesting that, I'm suggesting rickrolling people who use Windows using the postinstall script.

Good grief. Please stop with the personal attacks, derisive comments and generalizations. If this topic becomes another heated OS debate then it's going to stay closed next time.

I feel like that would be incredibly difficult, considering most old game systems could barely show that video without requiring the maximum amount of space
