no, it cant run bash scripts. I write and need to execute those often.

I right bash script as well. It works just fine for me.

Not everything in Fish is the same as in BASH. There are actually quite a few differences.

if you were really committed to fish, you could try installing and using the bash command

I am using zsh and I am fine with it.
For some reason I have ksh and csh tcsh in my computer.

Meh, I prefer ZSH. I can have all the extensions I want and customize it fully. FISH is just the odd one out.
