They don't work anymore, sorry! At least by my understanding, “extras” meant the plugin system present in Explore 3.5 (and maybe 3.4). But that required an internet connection and access to Explore's servers, which don't seem to be working in Explore anymore, unfortunately.

same here. been trying to find some forever. preferably some modern ones that add scratch 3 blocks and compatibility to scratch 3 extensions

There was a launcher for Explore that had a marketplace for extras and extensions however it went down a while ago, I don't really know the primary cause
