Um
What does this do, may I ask? Also, an explanation is needed on your post before people can support/no support.

What would this do? How would it work? All you did was put the scratchblock. Please actually describe what this would do.

There is no singular way to make a wave. It will make a wave
You have to be more specific.

Like using the push effect in the liquify effect in Procreate? (nobody’s gonna know what I’m talking about-)it will go up and down and up and downThere is no singular way to make a wave. It will make a wave

Or.. I could create a mock-up project.

What? How does that affect the sprite? That isn’t really a mock-up as it doesn’t show what it does?

I think the original was a plain background with straight black stripes.https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/615209612/

The suggestion is explained in this post:
but the OP missed a detail which is that: "it will go up and down and up and down it will go up and down and up and down in the z-axis from left to right"
I could make a better mockup as a gif later.

While I'm energised from coffee, I thought I would bump this topic.
Bump.
I don't know if there's any duplicates for a “wave effect”, but this would be an awesome effect!!
(The two exclamation marks at the end were by accident.)
I made a better mock-up of how this would work here by using the pen blocks. (Ignore the fact that the project is called “Wobble Effect Test”. This was originally made for another suggestion, but I thought this would also work perfectly here.)
(Also, if you cannot access the project link from post #9, you can load it in TurboWarp and it will work.)
