Origins

The Emerawards were designed as a contest towards shops. We didn't see any other thread doing that so we were one of the first! We were unique! Now, we are continuing the awards with different seasons. Because of the big impact we had in our first contest (3000+ views), many people are starting their own contests for shops!

What are the Emerawards
The Emerawards are trophies but as Emeralds. In the 2021 Fall Emerawards, we had multiple categories so that everybody can compete! But that was a complete disaster. So this season, we are doing things a little differently. We are doing only shops this week! 5 judges will be judging 20 shops! This might be a lot but it really is simple! AIGamesDeveloper will be ordering from 4 shops every day and they will take the orders. After the 5 days, there is a 2-day break and then the judging begins. Judges judge the final result of the shop's creation and then we determine the mean of our score (mean means average)

So for example
Judge 1 - 8
Judge 2 - 7
Judge 3 - 5
Judge 4 - 9
Judge 5 - 7

8 + 7 + 5 + 9 + 7 = 36
36 / 5 = 7.2

Final Score: 7.2

New Themes
Every season we have a new theme. This season's theme is Collaboration! That's right! Collaboration is a big thing right now in time. We have to stay together, even when we are apart. Shops will have to make banners that are related to Collaboration

Categories
We have removed the Games and Animations categories from the Emerawards since they didn't do so well compared to the shops. The shops were perfect. So we have different categories for the shops. Judges have to think of these categories when they are judging

-Effort
-Time
-Theme
-Atmosphere

Effort: Judges will determine whether or not the effort was put into this. To determine effort, judges have to seek detail, animation, placement, color palettes, and more things that make the banner amazing.

Time: Judges will determine whether or not time was put into this. They have to see how long the worker took to make this and have to combine it with the effort to see if they really worked on it. Effort and Time are both together.

Theme: Judges will have to see if the banner matches the theme of this season. They have to see the key things that determine the theme.

Atmosphere: Judges will have to determine whether or not it has a vibe (atmosphere). They have to see if they get that collaboration feeling inside of them when they look at the competing shops

Prizes
This year, we will only be giving out four prizes. The Green Emerald, The Red Emerald, The Blue Emerald, and the Grey Emerald. They will be the trophies that you can earn. Only 4 shops can get these trophies. We will also have one rare trophy called the Winter Worker awards, a new segment for the Emerawards. Every shop will choose one worker and they will get a medal for it (WARNING: Shop Owners cannot get medals unless they are the only ones working at the shop) with their name, their shop name, and a picture of their choice on the side!

There are no forms to fill out. Only for judges. There are only 5 judges per season. There are currently 4 more judge spots left!

Forms
This season's Emerawards is different. We do not have partners, no game contestants, no animation contestants, just shop contestants. People might say that this belongs in Requests but it isn't because many game shows were on the Collaboration forum. And The 2021 Fall Emerawards was on the Collaboration forums as well

On what basis do you invite shops? I want to know this as I am a shop owner and eager to enter my shop but it is written that shops can't apply only you can invite them
