The translation is correct; right now, it says “December is big.”

It's referring to a method of using your knuckles to remember how many days are in each month. Months that fall on knuckles are 31 days, and months in between are 30 days (with the exception of February, which is 28 during normal years and 29 during leap years).

November is in between knuckles, so it's 30 days. December is on a knuckle, so it's 31 days.

November is small, December is big.
