Welcome to Discuss Cell Lab!
Hi, and welcome! If you're unfamiliar with Cell Lab, it's a game developed by Petter Säterskog available on Android and iOS. Cell Lab is a game where you use cells and tune their genomes to solve challenges or experiment with. You can discuss about challenges and solutions for them, experimental creations, and much more while keeping your posts appropriate.

Hmm maybe new cells would be a great addition to cell lab?

when green flag clicked
forever
if <(distance to [new update v]) = [close]> then
broadcast [hyper v]
end
end

a luminocyte: a cell that glows in the dark
a suctiocyte (formerly vacumocyte): a cell that sucks other cells and food, depending
on the boxes (suck only cells = tick) = sucks cells
(suck only food = tick) = sucks food
glasseocyte: a cell similar to the keratinocyte but very weak against flagellocytes
a genocyte: a MORE powerful version of the devorocyte, even keratinocytes deal damage to it (but very few, and for a short period of time)

Maybe it can make its own light allowing any nearby photocytes to photosynthesize!

Yes! Just don't create unrelated or inappropriate posts.

Game mechanic idea: lower viscosity allows greater range of cilia.
It could make ciliocytes useful when food is scarce and can allow more realistic creations of real-life protozoa and microscopic animals.

I never understood what ciliocytes are for, what are they for?

Ciliocytes can move around the nutrients and cells it touches with their cilia. They can only move around food if the “mobile food” setting is ticked in the substrate settings. Ciliocytes can also be used to create “nukes.” A bunch of cells split into ciliocytes and the ciliocytes cannot remain stable like that (for some reason, its a glitch,) so they explode, messing up adhesin connections of those near it.
