Project not showing up in search

I recently shared a project I'm really proud of, but for some reason I can't find it in search. My other projects show up just fine, and I can't think of any reason this would be marked as not-for-everyone.

This is also a bit of a problem with some of my students' projects - they want to show them to each other, but even searching for them word-for-word they don't show up, and so they have to go to each other's profiles to find them.

It might be some problem . . . Scratch might take some time loading new projects. I have come across the same problem many times.

Scratch's search is very limited with what it can do.

Firstly, yes, it does take a while before projects show up, and how long this takes can vary a lot. A couple of hours to a couple of weeks is common, but I think more popular projects can get added much quicker (say if a famous Scratcher shared it and it quickly gained hundreds of views).

The search is also very specific. You must not make any spelling mistakes or variations on words as the results will be returned different. The text that is searched must exactly appear in the project's title or notes and credits for the project to show up. (Instructions don't get searched)

Another thing to note is that it seems that the search is roughly ordered by project popularity, specifically loves and favourites. This negatively affects new projects as they do not have the stats to show up anywhere near the top.

The scratch search button don't works really well.
It happens to me everytime when i search something and the project dosn't show. I try refreshing sometimes and they appear but also not.
