i want the undo button back

i would appreciate it if the undo / redo button in scratch 2.0 was added back, because i don't like that i can by mistake delete a HUGE line of code and then have to re-make it all over again.

This is sort of an ironic change that was made in Scratch 3.0. You see, undo does still exist, and it is much more powerful than ever before; but it's somewhat less obvious to use!

To undo, right-click the block workspace (the place you drag all your blocks onto) and select the option “undo”. Or hold down control (or command) and press Z at the same time – that's the keyboard shortcut for undoing.

If you accidentally undo something you didn't mean to, you can right-click and pick “redo”. Or use the keyboard shortcut, which is the same as for undo but you hold down shift while you press it (so, shift + control/command + Z).

Yeah.

Maybe it could do more stuff, though. For example: When you delete a sound/sprite/costume, you can't undo it. It would be a lot more useful if you can.

It would be handy. There is a way to un-delete a sprite/sound/costume, by picking “Restore” from the Edit menu in the menu bar, but it only restores the last dropped item. It can still be a bit of a lifesaver though.

thanks. i thought that the undo / redo button was something they were planning to add back, but i didn't know that it already existed, just somewhere else.

Usability-wise Scratch 3.0 needs a review, I found it quite problematic

How would I undo something even though I've already exited scratch?

The regular keyboard shortcuts and right-clicking doesn't work after you exit a project.

Unfortunately, you can't. It doesn't save the actions you did, just thw project,nso you can't undo tuem.

They had a few errors but that still was readable

I want the undo button back because I deleted something and had to Google how to undo, and by that time I went back to my stuff. If the undo button was there I could of brought it back easily.

Okay, but where were they having a stroke, they only had some spelling errors but you can still read it

Anyway, support if it doesn't exist in case of mistakes.
