Unclear project rules
I have a lot of ideas for projects but I'm not sure if some of them would be allowed on Scratch. The rules are kind of unclear when it comes to projects so I want to clear things up.
1. I want to make a thief simulator game
2. Are horror games with jumpscares allowed as long as I give a warning?
3. Cloud data saving that saves the data to the person's username
4. Cloud games

Please do not name browser extensions on Scratch, or link to their download pages, GitHub repositories, or websites. Doing so goes against this policy.Yes don't name browser extentions

- 1: You probably can as long as it follows the Community Guidelines
- 2: Jumpscares aren't allowed, even with warnings.
- 3: I'm confused, do you meaning encoding a username into a cloud variable?
- 4: Cloud games are allowed, but cloud chats within the games aren't allowed unless its a “preselected phrases” chat.
- 5 and 6: I'm unsure, but you're not allowed to name browser extensions due to this policy.

2 should be fine as long as the screen should say jumpscare in 3-2-1 before the jumpscareA big problem with that, is that it's still possible for younger users to play the project, and not know what they get themselves into. So no matter what, jumpscares aren't allowed.

kids shouldn't even be using computers if they are so young that they don't know what numbers mean2 should be fine as long as the screen should say jumpscare in 3-2-1 before the jumpscareA big problem with that, is that it's still possible for younger users to play the project, and not know what they get themselves into. 1) Nothing wrong with that, but of course the more kid-friendly and cartoon-y, the better.
2) I'm pretty sure any jumpscares in any projects, regardless of whether you include a warning or not, are not allowed. Putting warnings in your projects will not influence the Scratch Team's decision to remove such a project if it violates the Community Guidelines in some way.
3) I think giving Scratchers save files for a project via cloud variables should be okay, albeit a little tricky, and from what I know it's not necessarily possible to give save data to every Scratcher that exists.
4) “Cloud games” in general are certainly allowed; I've seen a lot of them on the website in various ways.
