You can just use the text editor website to play with all sorts of fonts. Best part: It's editable rather than having to reshape
That website is for editing/creating text files and not .svg files. And it has only 1 font.
You have to know how to use it. It has most fonts of paint.

I usually just write the text in Inkscape and use Object to Path to make it into individual shapes. It works just fine with Scratch and doesn't require others to have the font installed.

It doesn't work, when I imported a font, it just showed some weird icons. And also, it's only for editing or creating txt files not svg files

Ya, I also use that. But I have said that this can be done on browsers without installation and also on mobile phones

I find a simpler method (although you will need to slightly edit it once you have imported it to scratch):
Step 1: Go to fontsvg.com
Step 2: “Press upload your font” and upload your font
Step 3: Type in the text you want to import to scratch
step 4: Press “Download SVG”
Step 5: Import the svg file to scratch

But…
I appreciate you because you told what you thought. That's why you got corrected, not questioned. Think you have learnt a new thing, not that you were wrong

Oh, I think I get what you are trying to say. Unfortunately, it requires the font to be installed on the project users' computer otherwise it will show as serif.

Yep. Except the ones only on paint.

You have to manually write an SVG
