Hi! I'd like to curate because It would be a great experience and a good way to help out the community. I've been Scratching since 1.2, and signed up on the site around 11 months ago. I enjoy games with new, simple ideas or a twist on an original one. I will not curate projects that have over 30 loves or 200 views because if they did, I believe they have done alright on their own without being on the front page. Thank you for considering.

I would pick projects:

-for all ages
-projects that are not viewed very much and need attention (so scratch users don't end up like Kaj)
-projects that enhance creativity

Being curator would be awesome. I am on Scratch for over 2 years and I never became one. (My old account was MZproductions).

I like all sorts of projects which deserve to be on the frontpage.
Also, awesome that the curator row is back!

Dear Scratch Team,
While having a limit for views and love-its is nice to make sure to spread the love, there may be projects with 15 or 20 love-its that still need help.
I would pick projects that were worked hard on. I find that most of the projects I've seen curated don't seem like they took a lot of effort. I see nyan cat on the front page and then see a well made hard worked on animation or game that is pushed off to the side and is somewhere in the depths of scratch rarely being seen. I would also love to curate projects that have a lesson. I rarely find these project but have happened to find a few. If you need a sample of the things I might choose then this or this.
Please consider me even though I have just become a full scratcher. I have 3 stickied topics and 42 projects.

I would make a good curator because…

1. I choose the best I can think of
2. Along with choosing the projects, I will give the creator constructive criticism to help them later on
3. I am not fussy too much about themes, but I will select out a few (details later)
4. I don't randomly choose projects I enjoy-I have good reasons
5. I will be kind and friendly to anyone who happens to pass by

THEMES I WON'T CHOOSE, NO MATTER WHAT:

1. All about humans
2. Boastful statements about the creator

2. Socialism
3. Clever use of scripts

Can I please be a curator? I have never been one before.

I would like to be curator. I think that some of the projects I look at a lot of people will like. Mainly I will be curating animations, but I will be curating educational projects and games too. I will be curating every day I come on Scratch (almost every day). So if I could be curator, that would be awesome!

Hello I would like to apply for curating. I tried applying on 1.4 but that didn't seem to go through so I'll try again! If I were curator I would curate projects that teach people, but in a fun way, games and animations that I think that others would enjoy, and I would make sure they were appropriate for scratchers of all ages and that they were not violent. But, I would not curate projects if they already have lots of attention because I know that there are many great projects out there waiting to be seen. I also wouldn't curate projects just because I know the person that made it because then I would be unfair to other scratchers. If I were curator I would search all over for projects that I would curate, but I'll need help. I would make a project asking other scratchers to help me find projects by submitting projects not their own, and that they really enjoy and would like others to see it too. I really appreciate the time and work that the Scratch Team put into this wonderful programming language.

I'd like to be curator. I'd pick simple yet inspiring projects.

If I was curator I would pick Simple projects or complex projects, But none from my friends. That would be slightly unfair. I already have a few possible projects in my favorites.. I would try not to pick any Non functional projects or projects from users that have already been featured. I would pick simple projects with not a whole lot of views or love its. UNder 40 views and under 4 love its would probably be my guideline. I've been scratching since september, but I got an account in december. I love to scratch, and I have never been frontpaged. I want others to find the joy in realizong that they were fontpaged. I mean, when I get one message, a stream of joy runs hrough my gut, so what about 30? I would pick projects that were simple or complex, games or art, new or old (basically saying, a variety.). I really like animations and things people put time into. NOt just whit scripting, but with graphics. A few of these just have awesome scripting, VS. awesome graphics. I like both.I would curate some of these:

I've seen projects on the front page like this: My reaction: Cool! (love-it) Then I see a project in the newest projects: My reaction: OH WOW! This is even better than that project on the front page! (Love-it, favorite) Like that. That project is awesome! I decide to go to it again a couple weeks later. I'm surprised: 5 views. One love-it, and that love-it was mine. One day, I want that project on the front page, in curator row. Just a heads up to a lot of you:
I've noticed that most of you aren't give “complete” speeches, which may reduce your chance of being chosen.

A speech should include reasons why you want to be curator/why you should be curator, what makes you a good curator, etc. It should include what types of projects you would curate. It should also include sample projects that you might curate if you were curator, along with the reasons why you would choose it.

Those are just some things you should include to make a better speech

(PS. Begging doesn't really help.)

I would love to be a Curator! There are tons projects on Scratch that I have recently discovered, and I would love to post them.
I am interested in curating projects that tell stories, using cool sprites, sort of like a TV show. There are a lot that I have seen and a lot that I haven't seen. “Magic” by CorgiLover is a good example. I am doing one of these myself. I will choose projects like these that are creative, interesting, and imaginative. I would like to be allowed the privilege to be a Curator.
