Looking it TIMAC now, there doesn’t seem to be any writing or SWC threads on the first page, so I don’t think this is necessary at the moment in time.

Full support. TIMAC gets clogged by SWC thrice a year, and actual stories and worthy posts get bumped down underneath the SWC posts.

I would definitely use that one, as I tend to write stories, They are usually about combat but it’s still scratch friendly, so I could share them without the constant clogging.

A good number of people would disagree. They would argue that, since TIMAC and TIRAP is for things outside of Scratch and SWC is inside of Scratch, TIMAC is not the place for SWC. Another thing is that they claim that SWC clogs the forum (and I can see where they are coming from). A Things I'm Writing forum would work wonderfully as a compromise/solution to a long-standing controversy.

other camps don't use the forums nearly as much as writing camps. also, if it was a camp sub-forum, then writing done by people by swc would have to go in that subforum, but not other people's writing, which is kinda weird

Actual stories? Honestly, I agree with the idea of a new forum just for writing. It would be really nice to have not just for SWC, but as someone who shared writing on TIMAC before joining SWC. I would strongly disagree though that SWC posts are not as worthy or are not real stories. If SWC wasn't included in the title, you wouldn't think twice about it (I know you would notice with the flood of writing posts constantly being updated), but one person's writing isn't any less of a story or less deserving to be posted just because it was written during a particular month while the person participated in a particular camp.

Please keep in mind that all stories, regardless of what they are titled, take time and work, and while I know the hosts of SWC are organising it to accommodate everyone on the TIMAC forum, it doesn't mean that stories posted under the title of SWC are any less important than those posted by authors who aren't writing as a camper during SWC.

But yes, I think everyone would appreciate a writing forum or some other solution so that SWC isn't drowning other posts out and we (anyone participating in SWC) aren't having to all post in a mega-thread.

since swc is coming back in 2 days :D
