User-made extensions and a marketplace for them
No support. It would be hard to moderate all that.why it would be hard to moderate all of that?

The Scratch Team would have to review the extensions, which isn't easy.No support. It would be hard to moderate all that.why it would be hard to moderate all of that?

So how did they moderate the whole entire site? The Scratch Team would have to review the extensions, which isn't easy.No support. It would be hard to moderate all that.why it would be hard to moderate all of that?
The extension is
-Report able
-You make it with ScratchBlocks and I don't know a script that will make you WannaCry.

You make it with ScratchBlocksThe OP says “Massive engines like PTE Ultra + will not lag at all”, which inicates that they would be made with JavaScript.

Barely They can, but this would be a lot more on their plate. I feel like they would have to deny a lot of spam extensions as well. And if the suggestion is unnecessary and would give the ST more work, I don't think it's a good idea. The Scratch Team would have to review the extensions, which isn't easy.So how did they moderate the whole entire site?

Reasons why it's necessary:
-Less space
-Less laggy
And I think that it's necessary to have that.

This suggestion feels more like a shady Kickstarter with a bunch of empty promises than something that can actually get implemented into Scratch to me.

The OP said it would be less laggy, but this is only true if the extensions would be implemented in JavaScript, and that would make them even harder to moderate than if they were implemented in Scratch.-Less laggy[citation needed]

Let's say you use text, Most people wouldn't bother making spam extentions because they can't do it.The OP said it would be less laggy, but this is only true if the extensions would be implemented in JavaScript, and that would make them even harder to moderate than if they were implemented in Scratch.-Less laggy[citation needed]

Just remembered this post, and I still feel like it's a great idea. I just want to clarify some things.
First of all, this would just be awesome. Period.
Second, why do people not want this? I see no trouble with this system. These custom blocks could be stored with the same protocol as projects, with some extra information about the blocks. The need for moderation could be minimized as well, e.g using these locally and only letting Scratchers upload useful extensions with proper scripts, and following a generic criteria when uploading these extensions, like only letting popular extensions be uploaded, by others seeing the extension in “Used extensions” and clicking a little plus or something to add them to their favourites section.

This is a really good idea , but 1 thing that could be done is add a separate butten when you hover over the extensions button called User made extensions
also the reason this would optimize it is because it would alow , people to make huge scripts that do thing and have no area taken up , normalized scripts for better optimization
one thing that i require , The scripts are hosted like another scrach projects and its called when you load the project , the custom blocks show up in a new area for user created extension blocks
