How about either
  1. Just the generic font families for compatibility (serif, sans-serif, monospace, cursive, fantasy)
  2. Or allow more fonts, but with fallback to their generic family
there may be some issues, as Comic Sans is a cursive font (and the one Windows uses), but it looks nothing like most other cursive fonts. For example, a Windows user may see something completely different from an Android user

3. Use OTF files and the CSS @font-face for this.

No support, because putting your posts in Copperplate Gothic, Brush Script, Comic Sans or Marlett won't look good. Linux doesn't have these fonts either, and Android only has one font, Roboto. I think the font should be the reader's choice.

Support, it'd be nice and add some variety.
Unless there's no Comic Sans, in which case semi-support.

Guys, if you don't like Comic Sans, you know you can just ignore it and not use it, right?

If it's so easy to ignore words then ignore this forum post.
