I use another Paint Editor, like paint.net for Windows.

Just use the scratch eraser and erase the parts you don't want from the sprite sheet

I have found the best way to crop an image is to covert it to bitmap, and highlight that part and then delete. In vector, there is no way
to crop i think, but select that part of an image in bitmap the smae way you would select multiple images in vector.
