That would be something I would want! There could be block jokes too, like:
when flag clicked
say [Knock Knock, who's there?] for (2) secs
say [Cats.] for (2) secs
say [Cats who?] for (2) secs
say [May we change the cats who play Scratch to cat ladies?] for (2) secs

maybe the instead of the say block having its default text, it could have a random joke that changes for each new project you make

Support. This is honestly one of the better April Fools topics I’ve seen. It would be a good way to get spirit. Although, maybe it doesn’t have to be jokes. It could also be stuff like:

Semi-Support. Joke banners can be a good April Fools addition, but I think we have enough. We already have cat blocks, and a secret emoji. Joke banners will not feel like a big change.
But then again, it's April Fools, we can plan ahead, and we can add secrets. When I first read the topic, I was not thinking about a banner, but more of a joke alert from the Scratch Team. But I think a banner will work pretty well in this case, as it does not seem spammy.
Oh yeah, and to clarify, my final response is Support.
