right mouse click

No support, here’s why:

First of all, Some mouse don’t even have second button. I remember some older Mac computer models only having 1 mouse button. Not sure if that’s still true today.

Secondly, In most windows computers, or most browsers(?) right clicking brings up a menu at the side of the mouse pointer, which can be a pain at times.
1. I don't think anybody is still using those mice today
2. The right click menu behavior can be overridden.

Okay then, well I guess technology has evolved since…. Not that it matters much anyway. We already have a left mouse click, so I don't see a reason for a right mouse click right now.

I know someone already replied to this, but people who have those mice (I used to have one, absolutely AGES ago) can just use control-click. Just make sure that if Scratch adds a right-click functionality (which, let's face it: It REALLY should!!!!) it also responds to control-click!
Didn't have time to read this whole topic, so somebody might have already said this. :)

what if the user uses phone or tablet?
it will return true when they hold down their mouse
What if a game wants to detect a press? (Given that a <mouse down?> block essentially does that)

Trackpads are basically the same thing, and about 40% of people use one.

I'd like you to try playing a video game with a trackpad instead of a mouse (Fortnite is a fine example). You might understand then why it's painful for trackpad users (Not literally painful of course, more mentally. something told me that someone would reply saying that).

Oh also using a trackpad on a Windows or Apple computer and 2 finger clicking has a very slight delay - not normally noticeable, but in games and such it's very obvious.

FULL support. This would make games such as shooters 10x easier to play and make.

try without a keyboard, that's what mobile users have to deal with on Scratch projects that use key detecting blocks all the time

Yes well, numbers matter too. Most Scratch users don't use mobile.

I meant that seriously by the way, I actually wanted you to try it.

Because people with trackpad aren’t screaming “I use trackpad”, however a mobile user will probably end up saying that they use mobile.

(For instance I’m using mobile right now but otherwise I use trackpad, which aside from this topic you would never have known).
