Support! Scratch already supports at least some emojis like ❌ and ✔, so why not support all (or at least most) emojis? This would also mean less people would suggest random emojis to be added as special Scartch emojis..

Well, it's implemented now since the release of Scratch 3.0, yes. 
Edit: To be clear, this is regarding Unicode characters in the project editor, which is what I believe this topic was about. They are generally supported, and if there are edge-cases, I'm not aware of any. If Unicode support in the project editor is still incomplete, feel free to make a new suggestion clarifying that. (There are other suggestions regarding comment support.)
