How to become a Scratch pro???

Hi, I just wanted to know how you guys are so good at this programming website.
if you check my profile @NashwanYT and go into my projects they are very simple.

How to become a Scratch pro???

No, I think it's worth keeping open.

I will try and answer it myself. While there isn't any simple, straight-forward method to become a “pro” at Scratch, I can provide some tips you can follow.
  • Be exposed to content from other users. Explore the projects of Scratch. Find things that you find to be good and take note of what makes them good. Often, it's a combination of things - graphics, music, programming. These projects can be used as goals to try and reach.
  • Understand how Scratch works, know what every block does and know all sorts of things with how it runs that may not be well documented for new users. There is the wiki to refer to. Related to this is also spending time in the forums, particularly with Help With Scripts. It is a really great way to learn all sorts of things that you may not find out yourself. Helping with projects in the forums can be very challenging, but this can accelerate learning quite a bit based on my own experience.
  • Learn things outside of Scratch too. If you want to make a project that involves physics, you need to learn physics. If it needs maths (and a lot of advanced projects do), learn this too. Keep in mind that a lot of the Scratch “pros” are a lot older than the main body of Scratch users. They are almost always a teenager or older, and this is probably due to what they know compared to younger users.
  • Practise. Spend time making projects. Take a look at the age of accounts for the users you see as pros. Often, it is many years, and that's because learning all of this takes time and effort.

I would like to share some tips.

  1. While you code, do not make your variables too long.
  2. Use more shades (but not too much) while drawing in vector.
  3. Explore real life and find ideas.
  4. Search for some quotes and you might draw a picture of it!

it really depends on what you want to get good at. do you want to get good at vector art? coding? music? fame? design? it really depends and there's a whole community out there just on scratch if you search for it. there's also the wiki, which is absolutely filled with helpful content. remember that everything takes time and practice.

That’s kind of encouraging plagiarism/unoriginality, and you don’t have to be just like griffpatch to be a good scratcher! There’s such a thing as originality y’know! Tutorials are not for everyone! /srs /lu /gen

Also, there are more types of projects out there than what griffpatch makes. Griffpatch is not some godly being.

If you don’t see a close topic button, You can close it by clicking report on your own post and explain that you would like it closed and why. No moderation action will be taken against your account.

As for your main question, there’s no such thing as being a scratch “pro”, but try your hardest to make projects and you might get pretty close.
