Remind New Scratchers That Remixing is not the same as Seeing Inside

When a New Scratcher clicks on the Remix button, there should be a reminder saying that it is not the same as Seeing Inside.

I am not sure I saw anybody being confused between remixing and seeing inside. If that was the case, people would have complained about the redundancy of adding 2 buttons for the same thing.

Well, when I was a New Scratcher, I accidentally remixed the project when I was trying to look at the code, and I realised it only one month later.

sometimes, [remixing] and [seeing inside] is confusing for [New Scratchers]

Many times I have seen New Scratchers remix projects and not change anything. Once I asked a New Scratcher why they did that, and their reply was “I want to know how the code works”.

It's not hard to distinguish the remix and see inside buttons. Unless you misclick, in which case you can just delete the accidental remix.

The see inside button and the remix buttons can be clearly told apart from each other. This shouldn't be an issue, and even if it is, you can simply delete the accidental remixes.

boy I feel bad for you - why are three people against you xD

The remix button says “remix”, the see inside button says “see inside.” The fact that they're different colors makes it all the easier. You CAN just delete the remixes.

If it's the first time that a scratcher presses the remix button, then fine. As long as it's only that one time, cause else that might get annoying

If that happens, simply explain to them, “you can press the blue see inside button above the project instructions to look at the code. Remixing creates a whole new copy of the project.”

Please don't create a whole seperate post for scratchblocks stating the same thing you just said.

Also getting on my perfectionistic side - just use the “not” instead of equals false. “<not <remix = see inside>>” or something like that.

Whilst this is a good mockup, I think this will be more annoying than anything. Most people know what remixing is, and most people won't get confused with 2 different buttons (which are also coloured differently), so most people will have to click another button for no reason.
