Project Copying
Hi guys,
I've noticed that whenever a project goes viral, some people make remixes but change nothing. Others simply copy everything into the backpack and make a new project so it doesn't register as a remix, yet it is basically exactly the same. Is this against the rules? Because it's been bugging me a lot and in my opinion isn't ethically right.
Example: (link removed by moderator - just flag the projects, please)
Thanks.

Yes, I think this is against the rules. Please use the “Report this” button underneath the project window and explain the reason.

Hi guys,Yes, that is Project Copying. Project copying is not allowed as it is taking credit that should belong to someone else. (If it was in a collab, it would be ok.) When you flag a remix, be sure to include the link to the original project. (I have seen some copies without the based on link.) Also, give a detailed explanation so the Scratch Team will not get confused and say that it was a remix.
