Stronger than the HURRICANE that also took a direct hit on us
Also, if you step into NYC, it’s raining 24/7
Wow
I saw it on the news, was there flooding in New York too?
Also we should get back on topic after you answer this
Yes there was flooding.

we need someone to design the stuff…. like when you search, things pop up (for now just put test), and buttons, etc. After that I can conect it to the database. I can only tell what I should do better after the scratch project is completed.

Btw, the code will run on its own, we won't need anyone to run their computer 24/7, right?

i have a idea. theres a code which gives hacker for 30 days, (so i can turn on always on), and after that I would create another account and use the code. So basically the code wont be running for like 5 minutes every month.

Oh ok. So as long as you have a hacker account, the server will be running?

ye you can also boost it, so you get more speed, and faster connection time, and you can make it private, so that no one tries to steal our project, unless you want to open source it.

Ok i just layed out a plan for Scratchedia.

1. User runs Scratchedia
2. User searches a page:
3. Goes to repl database
4. Fetches URL
5. If URL not there, return error, and return to step 1
6. Show web data. Users can search by clicking the search bar on the top.
7. User creates a page:
8. Ask for URL
9. Check if URL is taken
10. If taken, return to step 8
11. If URL isn't taken, then ask for web data, OR we can create our own website builder
12. Encode all parts of the page
13. Send to database and then it saves
14. Return to step 1
Hmm… Interesting… So the server code will run and be stored on Repl? We won't need to pay any fee? And there won't be any storage limit to the database? If so, then that's a great plan. Btw I'm also planning on creating music and flash animation files that can be played on your browser. Website creators will have the ability to add them in their websites.
Nice.

P.S. We have a 5 gb limit.

I have an old 16gb flashdrive lying around,
my grandpa told me a 10 MB Flash Drive used to be $100k like more than 25 yrs ago

No way, we're not making it open source, we don't want people to have access to the scratchedia account, do we?

Well not that much. But it was expensive. In the 80's, 10 MB of hard drive storage cost 3k. Now you can buy a 256 GB SD card for like 30 bucks.

Obviously, why do you think old computers were very basic and bareley designed? Because storage was limited and expensive. However, back then, with 10 MB, people would think your making thousands of programs! (Maybe a bit overegsaderated, but theres a 60 euro game i have. Its 113 GB. Games back then were bareley MB's. Scratch projects are tiny size, yet can do a lot!)

Sign on the M18 Motorway warning that horses, horse-drawn vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles are forbidden.

Road signs in the Republic of Ireland do not differ greatly from those used elsewhere in Europe – with the notable exception that hazard or warning signs follow the “New World” style of a yellow diamond. The symbols used on these warning signs do, nevertheless, resemble much more closely those used (on red-bordered white or yellow triangles) in the rest of Europe than many of those seen in the United States.

Typical road signs in rural areas of the Republic of Ireland. Here, a fingerpost with old road number and Bord Fáilte logo. Signpost located in Rathangan, Co. Kildare.

Regulatory signs (relating to limits and prohibitions) differ very little from those used in the rest of Europe.

The system of directional signs is based upon, and is very similar to, that employed in the United Kingdom, but is bilingual everywhere except in the Gaeltacht, where only the Irish language is used on signs.

In Ireland, the highest category of road is a motorway (mótarbhealach, plural: mótarbhealaí), indicated by the prefix M followed by a one- or two-digit number (the number of the national route of which each motorway forms a part). The motorway network consists entirely of motorway-grade dual carriageways and is largely focused upon Dublin. There are also several three-lane motorways, while Ireland's busiest road, the M50, incorporates four-lane, five-lane, and six-lane stretches.

We didn't say 80's computers were basic or barely designed. They were basic, that's a fact, but they weren't barely designed. And yes, 10 megabytes back then could theoretically store 1000 programs written in BASIC. And also, computer games back then weren't even megabytes in size, they were at max, 64 kilobytes. Having a bigger size doesn't mean it will be better. It just means more complex code, higher detail graphics, and generally less limitations. Minecraft is 1 gigabyte while Fortnite is 26 gigabytes. And of course, Minecraft is infinitely better than Fortnite.

In Scratch or on Repl? I can do both, but I think a beta language isn't a bad thing to have.

I think this is a bit off-track.

I'm kind of between projects right now. I got Windows 11 sim done (for now), I've taken a break from DiskMod, and I'm just kind of chillin. Of course, I am starting to join Lavascript, and am working on my mysterious Adacraft projects, Snap! creations, and awesome book.
