This has happened a few times now. Basically, when I get a message, I click on the envelope, read the message and either respond to it or click the Back button on my web browser. Whatever I do, it still displays the same amount of unread messages until I've visited a few different pages. Does anyone know why?

That happens with me sometimes as well, if you wait for a while on the messages page, it'll eventually disappear. Nothing to worry about.

My browser / operating system: Android Linux 4.4.4, Opera 58.4.2878.56737, No Flash version detected

Worked fine on 2.0. Even the 2.0 pages are fine but 3.0 bugged it

What does ‘replicate’ mean?

In this case, it means that they also have the same bug. If it's can't, then they can't have the bug, meaning they don't have it.

It's happened to me before too (I got really confused about the word too, but after a while I figured out what it means when it's said here just by the context ^^)

Someone finally made a topic for this, can replicate on all of my devices.

It happens to me: My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 13816.82.0, Chrome 90.0.4430.218, No Flash version detected

Thanks guys! As a side note, this also happens on another device which I use which is a very slow Linux.

its still happend that if we read massage instead clicking the massage and exit the massage, we see the notification but its same again nothin else to see the notification

It probably has to do with the message count being part of the content already stored in memory when you go back. Though, if you refresh or switch pages, it'll be updated.
