Yeah, but what kind of code? What does it do?

Hi!
On a google search on whether pastebin is dangerous this is what I got:

Is Pastebin dangerous? wrote:

Even if it doesn't open up the floodgates to cyberattacks, posting on Pastebin could lead to data theft. … Making matters even worse, some have used Pastebin for dangerous practical jokes.

I also got:
Security research firm Sucuri recently published a blog post that revealed an alarming case in which malicious code had been copied into Pastebin, a public resource that has let users store text online since 2002

If this is possible, then I am assuming no. Though you might be using it with a good intention, if pastebin links were allowed, something bad might happen.

I hope this was helpful!

If the code is a save code, then you can use Show and Tell.

If it is Scratch Code, you can make an alt account if you don't have one already and make with this account a project that has the code inside. Share the project and copy its link. Due to this service not having a word filter, you aren't allowed, sorry.

I use Ubuntu pastebin quite a lot during my online classes and stuff - it's safe as long as you don't use it for breaking the community guidelines, giving out personal information, etc.
