That's why the save button is off screen on phones.

But it is designed for phones. At least, with the 3.0 update, it's supposed to be.

Also, if you look at my projects, the more recent ones were created on my phone, so…

Well if you can somehow manage to make projects with it good job, because in my experience the editor is way to big and glitchy on a phone. With the change from Flash to Javascript, scratch now works on mobile but the scratch team didn't try to adapt scratch to mobile

Since the GUI is so bugged on a phone I would assume that means they didn't try to design for phone.
