How is Scratch's interface on smartphones related to log out links and touchpads?They are on topic about the touchpads… the OP just was saying it would be better to use a log out link rather than touch pads.
Please stay on topic.

Does https://scratch.mit.edu/abouta/ work for you?Yeah it does. Click it.Use this.That doesn't log you out.
I did, and it doesn't.
That works, but as I already said on the OP that I didn't want to keep using that.

I'm not letting a 3rd party site log me out; scratch.mit.edu/abouta is close enough to scratch.mit.edu/logout. Just find the abouta site useful to your advantage.Does https://scratch.mit.edu/abouta/ work for you?Yeah it does. Click it.Use this.That doesn't log you out.

not clicking that linkClick me!CONSOne con is that someone might post a link like this:
I don't see any bad things about adding a link for signing out.and it signs you out.Click me!It's definitely faster for me to just type a few letters and then from my device's search history, find the logout link and that's that. It's much faster for me than 2 clicks.Can't you put https://scratch.mit.edu/abouta/ in your search history too?

Spoiler alert: clicking a link to /abouta signs you out. However, if you try to sign in on that same page, it will automatically sign you out again, which is pretty pointless.

not clicking that link
The link is perfectly safe if you consider just auto-logging you out perfectly safe. Dunno why it happens but for this OP's case it should work. No idea why he doesn't want to use it considering it already fits his use case unless I missed a post.

Hey, people are allowed to be mini moderators if they want to. They are just helping out. They are right by the way, please stop talking about how janky scratch is on phones, and talk about the actual topic.

Also, you can use a bookmarklet that uses abouta to log you out quickly. This one logs you out and refreshes the page:
This one puts you on the home page:
javascript:fetch("https://scratch.mit.edu/abouta").then(()=>window.location.reload())
javascript:fetch("https://scratch.mit.edu/abouta").then(()=>window.location.replace("https://scratch.mit.edu"))

/site-api/comments/user/kaj/ works, but only if you don't have any scratch altering extensions/userscripts on. I tested it out, you can try for yourself.

I don't want to start a flame war; as a mini/pre-forum helper it is my job (and technically all the forum helpers) to keep the post on topic.-snip-Please keep the topic to log out links, not project projectery.

OP, https://scratch.mit.edu/abouta instantly logs you out.
And does anyone in this forum topic know why scratch won't remove abouta? (before you nag me about going off topic i am on topic)

(#52)This is not a bug report, it is a suggestion for a new page on Scratch called “/logout”.

Dude I use a touchpad and I've used it on android and ipad, and it's quite literally 2 clicks and less than a second to sign out.
