I don’t know what happened, and this may be irrelevant, but when the update released (or shortly after) I created a suggestion to remove uploads. I never heard about again, and can’t find it. It was deleted, and uploads was indeed taken down.

Yes, this should be a server-side limitation. I could imagine playing a game which would only show a new record if you actually set a record, but with nothing stopping you from submitting one manually.

I tried it (for research purposes, don't ban me pls) and, it doesn't quite work. It just raised the comment count from 25 to 26, but there were no more comments on the thread.
