question for the specific fandom things, would someone’s dnd character count as tv show if it’s structured like a tv show? like it’s on youtube but super professionalahh sure go for it
am I allowed to use the dream smp as one of the fandoms because I think that's the only think my brain can think about right nowpfft yeah x'D
if you guys have more specific/other categories you want to use, check with me and i'll say yes or no <3
I do this Every Dayif youre doing the character interactions, yes but only ONE of your characters can be your own. the other character must come from a fandom. you can place them in the real world for the last two parts if you wanted ^^
Can I take one of my characters and stick them into the real world?
REEEEEE I get to write America + Katniss + Tris fan fic YEEEEEEOMG- KATNISS AND TRISS- LESBIANS?? HELP IM LOVING THAT IM LOVING THAT OH GOD
Please snip <3 and I believe it depends on yousnipFor the SWC map fanfic, should we use first, second, or third person, or does it depend on us?
this is correct, you can use any one you want

if you guys have more specific/other categories you want to use, check with me and i'll say yes or no <3YES SPEAKING OF WHICH. I'm on the second part of the weekly and was thinking for one of the character interactions I could use a character from a FNF mod- FNF is a cartoony rhythm game that I'm not too bad at and has literally thousands of well-made mods-, is that okay? (species vary from anthropomorphic animals to humans)

Hello and welcome to our very last weekly for this session! I do hope you are enjoying doing these weeklies <3 of course, if you have any suggestions, post in our suggestions forum! https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/514261/?page=2wow, Harry Potter, no one hates it after reading
Our theme for our very last weekly is Fanfiction! I know we did a swc fandom one, which does fall under the category of a fanfiction- of a sort, but this one is going to be more focused on writing fanfictions from your favorite books, movies, tv shows, or even podcasts!
Cabin Theme Fanfiction
That being said, our first task to warm up our writing is a fanfiction has you taking inspiration from your cabin in swc. (I promise for the rest of the weekly- there won’t be any more swc fandom fanfiction.)
I can promise you that your co/leaders have all worked extremely hard on creating your cabin. They have put lots of thought in your cabin theme, and setting it up. Now, we are going to continue their work and write a short story inspired by their theme <3
If you don’t know what your cabin theme is- go ask your leaders! Although most cabin themes are obvious and most of you guys should already know what your cabin theme is <333
Take the myth cabin for example.
Our theme is the gorgons and their statue garden! Perhaps I’ll write about my life as Medusa, or maybe how I gained my first statue in the garden. Another option you could take this in, is if you cabin has an intro passage and continue it! This would be writing a fanfiction from our cabin theme.
(The intro passage of your cabin -although not all cabins have this- would be the introduction, and where most leaders set up the scene. For myth, our intro passage is the part that starts with “Lilting melodies drift towards you and the sweet, clear notes pull you towards their source.” It should be in the beginning.)
You must write at least 500 words for this passage.
Character Interactions
Okay, okay- now that you have warmed up your creative minds (and thanked your leaders for putting in lots of work in setting up your cabin and creating a suitable theme) we are now moving on to writing more -traditional- fanfictions.
You know, those fanfictions you might read after finishing a book because you just want more of the story even though it’s over. We are going to focus on character interactions in this section. Authors, and anyone who created a character puts lots of thought in how characters think, work, and behave. We will be fleshing out a character from either a book, comic, movie, tv show, podcast, musical/theater performance or video game, and using them in our scene.
Now that you have a character picked, you must have another character. Your second character can be an oc (but only one of the two characters can be an oc- original character), or if can be another character from the same or different fandom.
Take these two characters, and think about how they would interact with each other. Put them in an everyday/normal activity and write what you think would happen. Maybe your activity is that they’re going bowling, or maybe it’s someone birthday. What would a sleepover with the two of them be like?
Keep it to only two characters because we want to really focus on their actions. Remember to stay true to the actual character themselves, and don’t make them do something that they would not normally do. (you know, just keep it realistic!)
For example:
I might take Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter and they will be bowling! I imagine Ron to be terrible at bowling, rolling a ton of gutter balls, but he doesn’t mind it so much because Hermione keeps him in a good mood. Hermione is probably over complicating everything. She’s trying to calculate the best weight ball to roll, and the best place to roll it. - she’s doing all those physics stuff, and she’s totally thinking out loud, which is confusing Ron. Maybe afterwards, Ron really wants to get the Pink Elephant from the claw machine next to the concessions. He’s going to blow what little money he has to get that Pink Elephant, and with his second to last coin, he manages to grab the Pink Elephant, just completely making his day.
Write out the scene and their interactions. STAY TRUE TO THE CHARACTERS! You must write a minimum of 800 words <33
Merged Fanfiction
Our final task of our very final weekly is a full fanfiction! (You may leave us at a cliffhanger, as long as you meet the min word count and please finish the paragraph? Ahaha thanks <3)
For this fanfiction, you must pick a minimum of 2 fandoms (Although, you can write from 2-4 fandoms, but please don’t go more than 4 fandoms- that’s getting a bit intricate and 4 is plenty) to combine and write a fanfiction merging them! These fandoms must come from the same options as in the Character Interactions: a book, comic, movie, tv show, podcast, musical/theater performance or video game.
You might take the setting from your favorite movie, the villain from the most interesting book you read, and make the protagonist the character you played in the latest video game you played. Just take elements from the different fandoms and smash them all into a single story. Have fun with this! Remember to stay relatively true to story and their origins ^^ ofc you can change some canon things- like (KINDA SPOILER WARNING FOR THE KANE CHRONICLES) if you didn’t like the ending of how the Kane Chronicles ended, and just wanted Sadie and Anubis to be together, and Walt can figure things out by himself (Walt should be gay- fight me), go for it!
My example:
Maybe I’ll write an example where Sadie and Anubis stumble across Platform 9 ¾ and they accidentally get transferred over to Hogwarts. They start to learn a new form of magic. OH! Walt also tags along with them and finds Oliver Wood. GAY SHIP! I’M LOVING IT. Maybe, maybe- Morgana from Merlin (the tv show ;) hehehe) is the villain of the story and the headmaster).
Just mix everything up and have fun intertwining stories. You must write a minimum of 1k words for this section.
If you chose two characters from two different fandoms for the character interactions, you are allowed to continue it here! Just make sure to write at least 1k extra words.
Criteria
This weekly is worth 4k points and you must have:
Cabin Themed inspired story
Fanfiction focused on character interactions
Collaborative Fanfiction of at least 2 fandoms
Share proof for all sections
Finish and commented the weekly in the Main Cabin by July 31st 11:59 pm EDT
This weekly will have a minimum of at least 2,300 words. Please include word counts for each of the parts- this would help the leaders out a ton!

Weekly Part 1: 1022 words
they say infinity war was the most ambitious crossover yet. yet as you walk into the coffee shop, that fact seems to be a lie.
characters from sherlock,
supernatural and doctor who are argueing over coffee.
the cast of harry potter are duking it out in the hunger games.
and the barista is some youtuber looking at you dead in the eyes.
“hello y/n. welcome back to the fanfiction cafe.”
Rockie was a bit starstruck, seeing all her favorite characters playing and eating around her as if it was a perfectly normal thing for literary characters to do.
“Umm… “welcome back?” I don’t think I’ve been here before…”
The barista smiles wryly. “Everyone has been here, and everyone hasn’t.”
She reminded Rockie of a character in Alice In Wonderland. But she recognized her from YouTube… except the life had gone from her eyes and the spirit from her body. Like she was slowly becoming a robot…
The lady gestured to a chalkboard above the counter. “Here is our menu. Please feel free to order anything and everything and find a beanbag to write on. Please write down you word goal, pronouns and other info you’d like us to know here. Your stay will be for one month, and you might want to stay longer after the month is up… celebrities and all that.”
She had absolutely no idea what she was talking about, but Rockie was determined to find out. So she put up with her for the moment, scrawling her name on a clipboard, along with her pronouns. She grabbed a notebook and plopped down on a blood red beanbag chair. She read the updates on the notice board, learning about what she had stumbled into. She had a feeling that this “fanfiction cafe” was a bit more sinister then they let on.
After a while, she drifted off to sleep. It had been a long day and she missed her family, although she doubted she’d see them for a while.
She woke up in the middle of the night, not knowing what had dragged her from her haunting sleep. She had dreamed of monsters killing her family and villains killing her friends.
She suddenly heard footsteps and scrunched her eyes shut on the beanbag. “Should she be a host?” A whispery voice asked. She recognized it as the barista. “No, she’s a camper… too risky. We’ll just need to kidnap someone else.” A louder voice this time. She heard a third set of footsteps, but they weren’t saying anything. She could barely detect a small “okay” and the third voice closed they conversation. Then the footsteps petered away.
Kidnapped? Host? The ominous words swam around her head.
She didn’t think she had imagined it, but in her half asleep state, it was possible. So she let herself drift back to sleep, and even more haunting one then before.
She woke up a few hours later to a loud chime, awakening all the campers and characters. It causing a poor kid to roll off of his beanbag in a fright. He groaned and Rockie helped him up with a jolt, realizing she was staring into the eyes of Draco Malfoy.
The chime rang again. Everyone was awake and yawning. Apparently a trait of fanfic was the lack of morning people.
The barista had some chefs make breakfast, and everyone sat down to a meal of waffles, eggs, and dishes from other countries she couldn’t name.
After breakfast, everyone started writing, but Rockie couldn’t concentrate. It was practically a miracle that she remembered the conversation, but she couldn’t stop thinking about it. She was sure that the three leaders of the cabin had done things to people to change them into something else… but what?
That night she stayed up late again to listen, and the conversation gave her even more hints to what was going on. The leaders really needed to stay quieter!
“I found a host to embody Sophie Foster.”
“Great! Kidnap her!”
“Hurry… I worry we don’t have much time. We must capture slaves from other cabins quickly.”
So from what Rockie had figured out, The leaders were kidnapping campers from other cabins and brainwashing them to make them characters from books and movies!
Rockie knew what she had to do.
The next night, she snuck out and hurried to the main cabin. She almost got out, but the door was locked. And, plus, if she opened the door, the bell would alert everyone. She cursed, and she heard a drawling voice behind her. “I can help.”
“Quiet down!” She hissed at “Malfoy”. “You’re gonna get us caught!” “Right, sorry.” he said much more quietly. “Alohamora.” The door unlocked itself and opened slowly. Luckily, it wasn’t a creaky door, and she slipped out with a grateful smile at Draco. “Good luck.” He smiled back.
She reached the main cabin right before the sun came up. She opened the door and barged into the administration offices and huffed into Alba’s office. “The fanfiction leaders are kidnapping campers and brainwashing them to become characters and I need help.” Alba stared at her. “Oh-kay… I’ll talk to them.” Alba surveyed Rockie over her paperwork. “Are you sure? They’re well acquainted with many of us, you know.”
“I’m sure.”
A few days later, the barista hands me a letter. Inside is a slip of paper.
Dear Rockie,
We found proof. The cabin leaders will be terminated. Congratulations, you are the new leader of Fanfiction Cabin. Please get back to me on your cos. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything we can do about the kidnapped campers.
Best wishes,
Alba.
A week later
“Hello everyone. My name is Rockie and I am your new leader. Some… things happened with our last leaders, and I am proud to run this cabin with my new co-leaders, Draco Malfoy and Conner Smith!”
Conner met Rockie a few days ago. They were both reaching for the same cupcake and boom, best friends. They also had the same favorite genre, fantasy.
Everyone cheered at the conclusion of her speech, and Rockie smiled.
She led her cabin to victory and she was the leader of a cabin that had everyone reach their word goals. Some even doubled them!
She checked her clipboard. She had a meeting with the other leaders today, followed by lunch with Alba (they were friends now), and then five hours of writing time. She loved the fact that she could just sit down and write and eat dessert all day long.
Rockie loved SWC.
Part 2: 1287 words
Giulia (Luca) and Ron (Harry Potter) are out at an Italian restaurant. Ron is still in the summer before his first year.
Both of them are a bit nervous to do it because they not used to going to fancy places, but they go and they both order trennete al pesto. Giulia doesn’t think it’s as good as at home and she rants about it, while Ron is kinda just blinking at her. Giulia gets embarrassed and they spent the rest of the meal in silence since Ron isn’t the most talkative, but he talks about redheads and they go on and on about why red hair is the best color. Then they go and talk about themselves and their different lifestyles. They are both in great moods by the end and they decide to go on a sleepover at Ron’s since Giulia doesn’t have much room. Ginny host it off with her and Fred and George tease them both. Percy is in his room studying.
“Are you sure about this?” Ron asked, fiddling with the buttons on his suit. “Yeah! I wanna taste English-Italian food!” Giulia says eagerly.
They both stared up at the sign of Bella, the most famous Italian restaurant in England. “Remind me, how did you get the money for this?” Ron asked nervously. “Oh, I made a bunch of fish deliveries every day for two years.” Giulia says, scratching her itchy dress. She missed her t-shirts.
“Well, let’s go!” Giulia takes Ron’s hand and leads him into the restaurant.
They both oohed and aahed at the fancy decor. Some guests look at them strangely, but a waiter quickly rushes up to them. “Hello, please follow me.” He led them to a table for two. “Here are the menus. I’ll come back later.” He hurried away.
They both gazed at the menu without speaking, taking in the complicated dishes. “What’s tren-ne-tte?” Ron asked Giulia.
“ Trenette al pesto? Only the best Italian thing ever. Order it!” she replied.
The waiter arrived a few minutes later and took their orders, two pestos.
They waited only a few minutes and the man put their pasta on the table.
Giulia grimaced once he was out of view, while Ron looked amazed at the fancy food.
“What’s wrong?” he asked at her pained expression. “It just doesn’t look at all like home.” she answered a bit sadly. “Maybe it tastes like it?” he suggested.
Giulia took a big bite, then almost spat it out. She chewed it and swallowed, her eyes sad. Then quickly turning to anger.
“This is terrible! This is supposed to taste like pesto! There’s to much lemon and no chicken and there isn’t enough basil. PESTO has BASIL! That’s the point of PESTO! And there’s absolutely no Parmesan! That’s my favorite part! And it’s cold! Pesto tastes better when it’s hot! And it has a lemon garnish instead of basil! And it shouldn’t have lemon at all! This is so stupid!” Giulia exclaimed angrily.
Ron stared at her along with half of Bella. “Umm…”
She blushed a bit. “Heh-heh.”
They both ate the rest of their pasta in silence. Well, Giulia pretended to eat her pasta.
“Well… you have pretty hair.” Ron said shyly. “Thanks. You too. Redheads are the best!” she said, smiling. “Yeah! My entire family has red hair! All of them, which is…” he thought for a moment. “Nine of them.”
Giulia smiled. “Wow! Only my mom has red hair! I stay with her during the year and I stay with my dad during the summer.”
“Why?” Ron asked. “Oh, well, they’re divorced. Oh! My mom is an artist, by the way. She paints awesome pictures. Mostly of the Genoa landscape, meaning a whole lot of ocean!” She not-so-sneakily changes the subject.
“That’s really cool. My dad works in the Ministry of Magic, and my mom takes care of all seven children. Which is extremely hard, seeing as my older twin brothers, Fred and George are awesome pranksters.”
Giulia smiled, then realized something. “Magic?”
Ron smiled. “Yeah.” He explained to Giulia about magic. The Ministry, Hogwarts, Galleons, Diagonal Alley…
It was practically nighttime when he finished. Giulia smiled. “We sorta have magic too. Around our town there are a lot of sea monster sightings. My dad is intent on killing one.” She shuddered a bit, and Ron patted her arm. “Do you want dessert?”
“Ooh, good idea!” She called a waiter over and asked for a dessert menu. “Oooooh, chocolate espresso cake! And ice cream! We can share!!” Ron nodded, and they soon stared at a beautiful chocolate cake. The vanilla ice cream on top looked like a fluffy cloud.
They stared at each other eagerly and attacked the cake. Soon there was only one bite left and they both speared it with their forks. “You can have it.” they both said at the same time.
They smiled and both took a tiny piece. “YUM!” Giulia excitedly declared. “This one’s better than at home!”
After they paid, they left the restaurant. Not wanting to say goodbye just yet, they stared at each other for a bit until Ron asked, “Would you like to stay the night at my house? It’ pretty cramped, but I think you’d like it…”
Giulia was silent for a while. So long that Ron almost said “never mind”, but her face lit up as she said “Yes! Yesyesyes!”
They both smiled at each other. “I’m going to show you something. Most Muggles don’t know magic exists, but Professor Dumbledore cleared it with the Minister. So please don’t tell anyone. Here goes!” He picked up a broom hidden behind a trash can. “Salta mozzarella… is that what I think it is?”
“Yup!” He helped Giulia onto the broom and climbed on after her.
They zoomed off together into the sunset.
After twenty minutes the Burrow came into view at the top of a hill. Giulia smiled at the sight of a magical residence.
A plump woman was perched on the porch, waving at the two on a broom. They land bumpily in the garden and got up. “I brought a friend, Mum. This is Giulia. Is it ok if she stays the night?”
“Wonderful! It’s nice to meet you! I’m Mrs. Weasley, but you can call me Molly if you’d like.” She shook her hand energetically, leading her into the house where the seven other Weasleys were clumped around a cramped dinner table. Two identical twins both broke into goofy grins at the sight of Giulia. “Ronny has a girlfriend….” “Oh, shut up.” Ron muttered, leading her to his small room. He gestured to his bed. “You can sleep here.” “Uh… you can, I’ll take the floor.” She would rather have the bed, but that smell…
A knock sounded on the door. “Come in unless you’re Fred or George!” The door opened and in walked Ginny. “Hi! I’m Ginny! I was just wondering, Giulia, if you’d like to sleep in my room. It’s bigger and a lot less stinky.” She fanned her nose and smiled mischievously at Ron. “Oh! Thanks… Ron, do you want me to stay here?” He shrugged, so she hugged him and headed to Ginny’s room. Her bed was very comfortable, and Giulia fell asleep quickly.
She was awoken the next morning with Mrs. Weasley pounding on Ginny’s door. “Breakfast!” she hollered.
She sat next to Ron and Ginny and they were very nice. Eventually she had to go home, but not before hugging everyone in the household. “See you soon, Ron!”
Her mother was waiting outside. “An owl just arrived telling me through a letter that you were spending the night.
Giulia giggled. “It was an adventure!”
Weekly Part 3 (3171 words)
Alex and Conner Bailey (The Land Of Stories) are going on a trip through Europe and they use the Portal Potion on every major literary work from that country. They get to talk to Harry Potter and tour Hogwarts, then they escape from the series just in time before Snape catches them in his potion cabinet. Then they meet Enrico Casarosa (director of Luca) and use the script of Luca to go to Portorosso. Without Giulia and Luca, the town is once again feeling Ercole’s wrath, so they team up with Alberto to stop him for good. I also had to include a Ursula quote. See if you can find it xD
An Important Note:
Some of this contains spoilers for Luca, TLOS and Harry Potter, so beware! Also, you need to know about the Portal Potion from TLOS. This is a potion invented by the Fairy Godmother to turn any written work into the world it describes.
“Hey, guys!” Charlotte called, her voice ringing through the house. “Alex? Conner? Bob? Come here!” Two teenagers with strawberry blond hair raced each other down the stairs, skidding to a halt when they noticed their mother standing right in front of them. “No running down the stairs!” she admonished. “Okay. So Mom, what’s up?” Alex asked, fixing her headband.
“We have to wait for Bob.” Charlotte smiled mysteriously. “He’s in his bedroom, fixing his sheets. They don’t look bad to me, but he says he wants them to be ‘perfect for you.’” Conner said, rolling his eyes. “He’s kinda overdoing the stepfather thing.” Charlotte smiled a bit, then decided to text Bob.
Two minutes later, the entire family was gathered around Charlotte.
“I thought, to celebrate Alex and Conner defeating the witches and Literary army and the Marines and God knows what else, we could take a trip to Europe. Maybe not Germany, though. It might be hard for Conner to not run away again. I was thinking a normal family trip to England and Italy.”
“YES! YESYESYESYES!” Both twins jumped up and down like six-year olds. “But maybe… oooh! Conner, what if we used the Portal Potion to go into our favorite book from each country! We can go into Harry Potter!”
“Alex, that is definitely not a normal family trip, but I have to admit it sounds fun! Where should we go from Italy?” Charlotte teased.
“What about Luca? We’re all obsessed with the movie.” Conner suggested. “But would a movie work?” “Maybe I could make some tweaks to the potion…” Alex said to herself. “Or we could go into the script?” “Where could we get the script?” Bob interjected.
“I heard that the director is making an appearance in a Italian town… maybe we could as him for a copy!” Alex said, nodding.
“Well that’s settled then. Go pack, we’re leaving next Saturday. We’re staying for two weeks, so bring a lot of stuff. ” Charlotte nods curtly.
Conner and Alex sat on the foot of their beds and asked each other what they were bringing.
“I’m taking thirty books—” “Thirty?!” Conner exclaimed. Alex shrugged. “It’s an eleven hour flight.” “Wait, it is? I have to double everything!” he groaned and added the missing items.
“Anyway, I brought thirty books, eighteen shirts, two pairs of shoes, fourteen pants, twenty pieces of underwear, and, uh… something.” She blushed and hid her five bras under a pair of pants. “Twelve socks, ten pairs of pajamas and my wand. Oh, also sixteen headbands and three dresses. And a toothbrush.”
“That’s a lot of stuff.” Conner observed. “I only brought eighteen shirts, a toothbrush, ten pants, eleven pairs of pajamas, eighteen socks, three shoes, twenty-two pieces of underwear, my notebook, and two pencils.”
“Hmph.” Alex ignored her brother and added her things to her suitcase.
“I’m so excited!!” Conner said, changing the subject. “It’s so nice of Mom, right?” Alex agreed.
“Well, let’s go to bed. It’s getting late.” Alex said, fussing with her pajamas.
The day of the trip arrived much sooner then they expected. In no time at all, the family piled into that car and drove to the airport. Meanwhile, Conner told everyone stories about when they had flown to NYC with Goldilocks, Jack, Red and Bree to save Alex from the curse. Alex laughed, but deep down, she was still ashamed of what the curse had made her do.
They barely made it on time, but they practically flew to the terminal and made it just as the flight attendant was closing the tunnel.
“Alex, you’re with Conner on seat 3A and 3B, and I’m with Bob sitting in across from you guys.” They hurried to their seats and watched the boring safety video, and then Alex tried not to squeal as they took off. It was her first time on a plane, and you could tell that even with all the magic in her life, this still impressed her.
And of course, Conner teased her about it. “You’re seriously still in awe of a plane? For heaven’s sake, we have family in ANOTHER DIMENSION! And our grandma is the Fairy Godmother!!”
Alex stared out the window at the cloud below her. It felt like she was flying on the top of the world, however silly that sounded.
Soon she pulled out a book and started reading. Conner stared at her for a second and pulled out his notebook, decided to do something productive.
The flight passed as quickly as any eleven-hour flight could, and the family soon arrived in England. They drove to a fancy hotel, in awe of all the beautiful scenery. It was a two-hour drive, and they passed through countrysides, cities, imposing stone structures, and even a forest. Their hotel bordered a river and sat on the outskirts of a countryside. It was quite beautiful, and they found that England was even more beautiful than they expected.
Conner smiled at Alex’s reaction to England. It reminded him of the first time they were both dropped into the Land Of Stories.
“Now, I want everyone to try to get some sleep. Tomorrow we’re going to go shopping, and I don’t want jet lag ruining our day.” Charlotte ordered once that had made it to their suite.
Alex, Conner, Bob and Charlotte all collapsed on their beds (Conner had to sleep on a sofa) and tried to take a nap.
But Conner couldn’t sleep. In Germany, he had the same problem. He decided to work on his newest story instead. It was about a family of witches who used dragon fire to heal and cast their magic spells. It was based off of his friend Hagetta, a witch who had saved the twin’s lives.
He woke up a few hours later with his entire fully-dressed family staring at him expectantly. He didn’t even know he had fallen asleep!
“Ready to go shopping?” Alex asked him. She looked so excited, Conner had to remind himself she was a girl. It seemed impossible for someone to like buying things so much.
But Conner found he actually enjoyed it a bit, although he’d never admit it.
Conner bought a postcard (for Bree) a new notebook and a fancy pen. Alex bought a book fo English fairy tales and a bookmark. Charlotte bought a super-expensive skirt and Bob got some fancy English tea.
For lunch, they went to a cafe, and they all got sandwiches, soups, and a lot of dessert.
Finally, they decided to take a tour, and Conner chatted with the South Bank Lion, showing him his family and introducing Alex. (He didn’t mention Mother Goose.)
The next morning, the family had a important conversation over breakfast. “Mom…” Alex started in a small voice. “For the Harry Potter thing, I think it would be too suspicious for all of us to go. I think Conner and I should go and no one else.”
Charlotte sighed. “Well, I can’t say I wasn’t expecting that. Fine. Just be back in two days, ok? We can walk to Platform 9 3/4 together, at least? I always wondered how those wizard parents would feel. I know my kids lived in another dimension, but I’d never dream of sending them to boarding school!”
She looked so hopeful Alex and Conner had to say yes.
So right then and there, Conner opened the book and Alex poured three drops of potion on it. The book started glowing and Alex and Conner immediately stepped into the bright beam of light, but Charlotte waited for Bob. Together, they stepped into the portal.
They both watched in awe as the words of the story swirled around them, gaining color and texture and they morphed into the objects they described.
Soon they found themselves standing right outside Diagon Alley. Alex tapped a brick in the wall and it spun away to reveal the hustle and bustle of wizarding shops.
Alex spun her finger and a Hogwarts letter appeared in their hands, telling them what they needed for their first year as wizards.
Conner and Alex were delighted to be able to bring home wizard things. They each bought a lot of Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Botts, and Conner got a tiny owl named Hedwig Jr., and they both were able to go to Ollivanders and get real wands! Alex impressed Ollivander with her knowledge of how to hold it. (Maybe Harry Potter and The Land Of Stories weren’t so different after all…)
Then they went to Platform 9 3/4, and they passed through the wall with the help of a bit of magic.
The Baileys oohed and aahed at the majestic sight. A gigantic steam train was pulling into the station.
“Well, that’s our cue!” Conner said, gesturing at the big train. “Bye!” Alex hugged Charlotte, then Bob. Conner piled onto the hug, and they took their robes, books, owls, and other items onto the train, finding an empty compartment to talk. They shut the door and smiled at each other. “WE ARE GOING TO HOGWARTS, CONNER!!” Alex whisper-yelled. Conner smiled. “You do know we’re, like, staying for one day, right? Get there, look around, take one class, leave.” “Yeah… but I still feel so lucky!”
The rest of the ride passed in silence. Conner fidgeted with his robes, missing his old t-shirts. They ate a few Chocolate Frogs and then the train stopped. Conner was surprised to see it was nighttime already, and Alex almost squealed at the sight of Hagrid. They rowed across the Lake, clutching each other’s hands. Some of the others looked at the twins strangely; they seemed much too old to be in their first year.
They made it to the Great Hall with a lot of jostling, their meeting of Professor McGonagall, and a ghost sighting. They stood in the great hall, and Alex audibly gasped.
Conner smiled at her, but she didn’t look happy. “What’s wrong?” he whispered into her ear. “Professor McGonagall isn’t going to call our name! I have to put a spell on her!” Alex said miserably. “Get it over with, okay?” Conner patted her shoulder.
Alex nodded and snapped her fingers. No visible changed appeared except the teacher looked confused as two new names appeared on her list.
“Bailey, Alex.” Alex squealed, her misery forgotten, as she ran to the Sorting Hat and plopped it on her head.
It took less than a second for it to call out ‘Gryffindor’, and the same thing happened with Conner. They both hurried to the table and smiled at each other. They spotted Harry, Ron and Hermione, and Alex almost fainted as Hermione waved at her. She waved back.
The feast was absolutely delicious as always and Conner stuffed himself silly.
After the feast, they hurried to their rooms and fell asleep with big, silly smiles.
The next day, they met each other in the Great Hall and decided to go exploring. They visited the library, the Owlry, the Room Of Requirement, and Hagrid’s hut.
They then went to their lessons. Alex excelled in everything, but Conner was the best in the class at Defense Against the Dark Arts. He had to hide his disgusted look at the sight of Quirell, though.
They decided to go home soon, but Conner had the idea last-minute to sneak into Snape’s office and cause some mischief. They hurried to his potion cabinet during lunch and broke all of the bottles, sending lacewing flies crashing to the ground. Even though they knew he was good, he was still a royal jerk, and they delighted in making his work clatter to the stone floor.
But then they heard footsteps, and in a panic they left Hogwarts just as Snape peeked his head into the office. They were sure he saw the beam of light as the twins disappeared back to their hotel.
They found their parents waiting for them with a delicious dinner on the table. Alex was very confused. “How did you guys get back?”
“Oh!” Bob said cheerfully. “We decided to do our own copy too, since we didn’t want to wait for you to get back.”
Alex nodded, understanding.
“Well, we have three more days in England. What do you want to do?” Charlotte asked the twins.
They both thought for a moment. “Have a picnic and explore the forest!” Conner said, gesturing to the window.
Charlotte nodded her approval and set to work making a picnic right away. The twins changed out of their robes and got into normal clothes.
Their picnic was delicious, and the forest was very mysterious, and Conner was certain he had spotted a fairy playing on a branch.
The next few days passed quickly, and soon enough they were on a plane to Italy!
They found an even nicer hotel than last time with a fancy name and an Italian restaurant, and this time even Charlotte didn’t have to tell them to go to sleep!
The next morning they took a tour and shopped again. Conner was a bit tired of looking at things. But the next day was the day they got to hear Enrico Casarosa (the director of Luca) speak, so he held in his frustration.
After a lunch at the hotel, Alex decided to plan the Luca trip. (She felt a little guilty about forgetting that her parents were still in the story and that they had to find their own way out, and she wanted to make sure that wouldn’t happen again.)
Then they chilled in the hotel room until it was time for bed. The next day they all gathered in the square as Enrico started speaking. Alex knew a bit of Italian, so she knew they were talking about his childhood.
After the talk, Alex confronted the man and asked for a copy of the script. With a strange look, her request was granted, and they hurried back to the hotel, barely containing their excitement.
“Mom, you and Bob cam definitely come to this one! Remember, though: Luca and Giulia are both at school now since it’s not summer, so this isn’t actually part of the story. Hopefully we’ll get to see Alberto.”
They immediately poured potion on the script and jumped into Luca.
Ten watched as the town of Portorosso materialized around them, and they watched in surprised awe as they each turned into the animation style of the beloved movie. “You look like blond Luca, Conner!” Alex giggled.
Conner hmphed.
They both watched as kids played soccer in the square, and the two old sea monsters sat on a bench eating gelato.
They watched in awe as Massimo and Alberto exited their house and went to go catch fish. Alex smiled and raced up to them. “Hi! I’m Alex, and I am a big fan of both of you! I watched the Portorosso Cup and you were awesome! It’s so cool you’re a sea monster! What’s it like?”
Alberto was understandably confused at her enthusiasm, but he smiled and asked Massimo I’d he could take the day off. He said yes and Alex showed Alberto her family.
“Nice to meet you!” he said each time. He was very polite, and it seemed spending time with Massimo had done him some good. “So, what brings you to Portorosso?” he asked.
“We’re just visiting.” Alex said. “We wanted to hear about the famous Alberto Scorfano!”
He smiled. “Well, I need your help. Ercole is back to being a bully now that my friends are at school, so we need to stop him!”
Alex smiled mischievously. “Don’t worry.” She snapped her fingers and a gelato appeared in her hand. She gave it to Alberto. “I fortunately know a little magic.”
His eyes widened, but he didn’t say a word.
He showed Alex Giulia’s treehouse and they started making a plan.
Conner cleared his throat. “Can I help too?” He asked hopefully.
Alberto eyed him. “Sure” he said at last. “Come on!”
Alex and Conner followed him up the treehouse. “Ok, I think what we should do is: First, we say hi to him and I do my witty thing. Second, Conner steals his Vespa. Then we hold his Vespa hostage until he promises never to be mean again. And then we give his Vespa back with an enchantment that whenever he’s mean, his Vespa gets a really big scratch.” Alberto said, writing everything down.
“That’s a really good plan, actually!” Alex said, smiling at him. “Let’s do it.”
“How about we do it tomorrow?” Conner said, yawning. “I’m exhausted.” He sat back and fell asleep.
Alex knew she couldn’t hold in the truth any longer. She told Alberto everything. He was a great audience, and he was super excited at the end of her story. “WOW!”
Alex giggled and then she too fell asleep under the stars. Alberto climbed into his room and went to bed.
The next day, they woke up bright and early and decided to put the plan into action.
As soon as Ercole revved into town with his big sandwich, Alberto walked up to him and they took turns being mean to each other as Conner quietly stole his Vespa. Alberto motioned to Conner as Ercole went berserk. Then Alex strode up and threatened him. “If you promise to never be mean again, we’ll give it back.” He meekly agreed, and then he fled.
They high-fives each other, smiling, and then Conner, Charlotte, Bob, and Alex had to leave. With heavy hearts, they said goodbye to Alberto and Massimo, who Charlotte and Bob had become friends with. They promised to visit and hugged each other, then disappeared back to modern-day Italy.
The rest of the trip passed quickly, and sooner than ever they were back home. Conner and Alex smiled at each other back in their bedrooms and laughed. “That was a big adventure!” Alex giggled. “And the first one without high stakes life-or death situations!” Conner added.
And so the Baileys lived happily ever after.

they say infinity war was the most ambitious crossover yet. yet as you walk into the coffee shop, that fact seems to be a lie.
characters from sherlock,
supernatural and doctor who are argueing over coffee.
the cast of harry potter are duking it out in the hunger games.
and the barista is some youtuber looking at you dead in the eyes.
“hello y/n. welcome back to the fanfiction cafe.”

I'm on the second part of the weekly and was thinking for one of the character interactions I could use a character from a FNF mod- FNF is a cartoony rhythm game that I'm not too bad at and has literally thousands of well-made mods-, is that okay? (species vary from anthropomorphic animals to humans)
I don’t really understand what to do for this weekly?
Can any one please explain it to me?
did you read through the full post (the first post) it should have all the instructions ^^ tho if you have more specific questions i'd love to answer those
