I would like to point out, and end the point of no SMG2, that the game, similar to Hollow Knight Silksong, was planned as a update/DLC/3rd Pokemon Game-Like Thing, but became it's own thing. In SMG2's Files it's even called Super Mario Galaxy More (If remember I correctly , but it's close to that if not).

I don't have Super Mario 3D All-Stars but I do have the three games that are part of it

I don't think I ever realized how good Super Mario 64 is until I played it in Super Mario 3D All-Stars. I did play Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS years ago, but recently I got the idea that they were “not good.” I don't know why I thought this, because now I think Super Mario 64 is amazing. It might be my favorite 3D Mario game.

Likewise, I do remember hating the wing cap, but now I love it.

The menu screen is extremely bland and there's very little extra content, but other than that there's no real reason to hate it.

i played mario 64 for the first time because of 3d all stars and it seems like it has aged terribly

at least i got to play sunshine for the first time, which i really liked

Super Mario 64 hasn't aged great, but it's still fantastic. Sunshine seems to have been rushed imo because of the glitches, one time Mario fell through a platform and one other time I think he fell off a giant mushroom/tree and crashed into empty space.

Sunshine also has weird controls now. I can't figure out how to move FLUDD upwards to beat the first level. And they obviously skimped on voice acting. “Press the – button”

I also find the cutscenes don't go well with the rest of the game in the remaster, considering the cutscenes aren't HD like the rest of the game now is.

I found out how to play Mario 64 on our school computers, with almost every other game being blocked. It's probably the most complicated process ever, because you have to download the rom, the download link is almost covered up by an ad, then you have to go to another website. It's complicated, but everyone else who talks about Playstation and Xbox is suddenly talking about Mario XD
