when i was in scratch, i used a font, but instead , it showed random question marks, EXAMPLE : mega ( in another font) replaced with : ????
(ctrl+ shift+ down while selecting the text to see full signature)

When you say “font”, do you mean one of Scratchs built in fonts, or an uploaded font (like from Google)?

Did you use a font generator from the internet? Most of them are not supported on scratch.

yes i did use a font genarator.

In that case, this is completely normal. Scratch only supports a few fonts. Try using one of the fonts that scratch has.

You can upload the text as an image from a text editor (I think)

no, i get what they mean.

if you use a character in a text box (besides ones in the scratch project editor) that isn't supported, it will replace it with ????.

You can use unsupported fonts in the editor, just not in the textbox, therefor what they're talking about has to be in a textbox not in the editor. So you wouldn't be able to use a font that scratch has.

These “fonts” just switch some characters with other similar Unicode ones. For example, the r you wrote in the greek text is an r from a slavic language and the x is a greek “chi”.
