A forums update would be terrible. This is what I guess will happen:- only 25 posts per topic. “you are free to make a new topic at any time”
- You need to wait 5 minutes between posts
- You get muted for saying bad words that normally get censored with *s, and names of websites that you can't mention on the main website, like Discord
- Automatic post dustbinning
- Code tag will be removed
- The page is way too large and only can fit 5 posts

Also:i would like if they made a “Things I'm Writing” section because SWC is taking over TIMaC
- Open Source Projects, Developing Scratch Extensions, and Connecting to the Physical world merged with the Advanced Topics (good?)
- Advanced Topics possibly shutdown (bad)
- Things I'm Making and Creating, Things I'm Reading and Playing, and Show and Tell merged (bad)
- Requests, Collaboration, Project Ideas, and Help with Scripts merged (bad)
- Subcategories in the language forums (good)
- Language forums moved up (okay?)

A forums update would be terrible. This is what I guess will happen:To be honest I doubt they'll mess anything else up. They did what they did with studios because of the problems they were posing on the performance and moderation side of things. The forums don't really have much of any issues, nor are they that hard to moderate, so I can't see much going wrong here.

I honestly can't think of a way to mess up profiles and my stuff (except for hiding follower counts, but I think that's rejected)To be honest I doubt they'll mess anything else up. Well, if they do increase the filtering here, it might allow them to bring back the Discuss button! XD Though, they can't really include muting here because there's the false mute forum topic.A forums update would be terrible. no, it's actually partially accepted, the follower count is much harder to notice nowI honestly can't think of a way to mess up profiles and my stuff (except for hiding follower counts, but I think that's rejected)To be honest I doubt they'll mess anything else up. A forums update would be terrible. This is what I guess will happen:They'll probably just move it to discourse or something like it and do some small changes

They probably wouldn't. They want everything on their website and likely won't move everything to another platform that's harder to moderate.A forums update would be terrible. This is what I guess will happen:They'll probably just move it to discourse or something like it and do some small changes

They can host it themselves. Plus, Discourse is open source so they are probably gonna customize it heavily like they did with DjangoBB (and maybe FluxBB when 1.x used that)They probably wouldn't. i hope they don't use discourse as it has infinite scrolling and it seems more like an unmoderated chat site than a forum. heck even the regular forums without “”the extension“” look better than discourseThey can host it themselves. Plus, Discourse is open source so they are probably gonna customize it heavily like they did with DjangoBB (and maybe FluxBB when 1.x used that)They probably wouldn't. nodebb actually makes sense cause 2.0 = django (2.0 forums = djangobb) so 3.0 = node (3.0 forums would be nodebb)

nodebb actually makes sense cause 2.0 = django (2.0 forums = djangobb) so 3.0 = node (3.0 forums would be nodebb)
Also:
scratchr=PHP
FluxBB=PHP
scratchr2=Python
DjangoBB=Python
scratch-www=Node
NodeBB=(guess)
Edit: NodeBB is open source so they don't need to pay and they can still heavily customize it.
Edit2: It also uses Transifex. It's like it was made for 3.0

I don't think the fact that NodeBB is written in the same language as their API makes it much more likely to be used.

I don't think the fact that NodeBB is written in the same language as their API makes it much more likely to be used.It makes it easier to maintain, I think. Like as Scratch transitions to Node as a primary backend language, it makes sense that devs will become more skilled in Node and less skilled in Django, so it's best to use a platform that can be maintained by the devs they have. Also, allows a lot of Scratch 3.0 tools to be integrated with the new forums easier. XD

Though, they can't really include muting here because there's the false mute forum topic.You forgot the form

(The post says there will be a form in the future)
There will be a form built into the filterbot window to gather your thoughts and report mistakes.
