Many people use(d) studios as a way to notify their followers about a(n upcoming) project (or series). Many people oppose this, saying that it creates notification spam and that it's not what studios are for. Recently, with the studio update, the ability to add followers with the simple click of a buttons was removed. Years prior, the “Invite All Followers” button was also removed, making it harder for people to use studios for this purpose.

Because of this, I suggest notifications when someone makes a project. These notifications can be opted out of, either for everyone you are following, or just certain people.
The notifications can look like this:

I normally follow people who I respect as a forumer, a scratcher or someone who has contributed well to the community. That doesn't mean I want to see their projects.

I think it would be cool if you could select who you could recieve these notifications from such as the notfication button like on youtube, and you can choose to notify everyone who has clicked that button on your profile when you share a project.

Support, although you do get project notifications in the What's happening tab they are quickly moved out of view by other events. As mentioned above we could have a button similar to the YouTube bell to opt into these notifications.

Support. It would emphasize your followers projects more, and they would get more views, which would likely make them happy. But I don't entirely agree with the notification looking like a forum post notification. I think this would look better:

because it's followers activity, not forum activity.
