Suggestions for studios - the directory (please don't suggest here)

i think it would be better if there was manager tiers like

tier one: can only invite people can't edit the description or remove people.
tier tow: can invite people and edit the description but can't remove people
tier three: can do every thing even promote people but can't delete the studio

also pls add back inviting followers :'(

No, because this is a directory for all the studio-related suggestions. Yours is a list of all the things that have been suggested, but not the suggestions themselves so this one is more helpful.

Before I lunch into a huge topic let me just say thank you ST for helping out! We know you worked hard on this update and hope you are open to a few more updates!

1. The first thing I would like to talk about is the reply limit.

I do think it is important to not let comments get to out of control, but 25 reply limit is crazy, could we maybe make that a bit bigger?

2. Let's chat about the manger's powers:

I understand that mangers do sometimes make bad changes to studios, but blocking off ALL of the mangers from editing stuff, just isn't fair! It's like a teacher punishing her whole class for something 1 student did. Also if the mangers can't do that much any more there will be a lot of inactive studios! So here are a few ideas about what we could do about the mangers
● To become a manger you must have been a curator in the studio for at least 1 day.
● There is a report button if the mangers made a bad change to the studio
● There is something where the owner can give permission so different mangers can do different things, like one manger can only invite ppl, and others could edit the desc, or some of them could do it all!

3. Inviting Followers

Some scratchers us studio to get updates to their follows out there, but invite every one by hand takes hours! I do have a idea on what to do about it!
So in the studio there is one button for all mangers hat have permission and it says “Invite all follows who allow it” when this button is clicked it invite all followers. But let's say when some one follows a person the r asked if they want to get studio invites from this person! That could be turn on and off anytime they wanted!

4. New Scratchers

Is it really fair that new scratchers can't make even 1 studio? Here is an idea there is a studio limit for new scratchers! Like they can only make up to 3 or something until they are a Scratcher!

I have an idea for a new studio update since, in my opinion, I think the most current update (as of 2021) can be improved to make more Scratchers satisfied with this site!

So, my suggestion would be to bring back the ‘curators tab’. I know this has already been suggested, and the update removed this option due to all the messages people receive about studio invites. So I thought Scratch could make an option so people can see what studios their followers want to be added to. For example, they could hover their mouse over a username and a little bio could show up saying they want to be added to studios that are about, for example, “dogs, art, RP.” If the studio fits the criteria, they can invite the user. Another thing that could be possible is making studio hashtags (limit of maybe… 15?). This will help studios to be easier to find, and also help the manager know if their followers want to be invited.

I also thought that perhaps the messages could be structured differently, maybe allowing for spam, or specific tabs that say “comments”, “studio invites”, and “new follows”. This might make it easier to navigate messages, instead of scrolling through a bunch of studio invites, along with other benefits!!

These are all ideas, and they can be altered and changed to suit the site better.
