I’m trying to find a certain person on scratch but you can only search for projects and studios! Is there a way to find a profile? If not, I think scratch should add another category next to studios called “profiles”

Hi (this is my first post) I also have the same problem here- I’m trying to find my sisters account so that I can follow her, but she hasn’t shared any projects yet. this means it’s impossible to follow her. idk if there’s a way to search profiles yet, and it would be really useful!

There are a couple of ways you can do this!
You can
1. Write a comment containing the username of the Scratcher you want to find and then put a “@” directly in front of the username. Example if I was to search for a user named -Mini-X- I should write @-Mini-X- , click post and click the username. Remember not to put a space between the ‘@’ and the username.

2. You can type the link https://scratch.mit.edu/users/*insert the username here* for example I would type https://scratch.mit.edu/users/-Mini-X-

what @-Mini-X- told is correct. However, if you are not sure about the username and you want to search for it, there is no way to do it on using the scratch search box (only project and studios are supported). But you could do a google search for the username by entering this in the search box:

USERNAME site:scratch.mit.edu/users/

You can replace USERNAME with the username you want to search for.
