“Your project is now shared.” —> “Your project is now shared!”
The message you get when you share a project is kinda bland. It’s like, “you shared your project. Yippee.” Not much enthusiasm.
Adding an exclamation mark kinda makes you feel like “wow, nice job! All your hard work is ready for everyone to see!” More enthusiastic.
however, there are those people who share blank projects. So that might be a bit… “too enthusiastic”

I don't think messages like these really need to be enthusiastic, just informative, and the message does that. I guess it would be better, but I don't see to much of an issue here.

They aren't supposed to be enthusiastic, just some info is enough. Seems like too much for me, sorry, no support.

yeah, but wouldn't it be more encouraging and make one more motivated? scratch is targeted towards kids so it shouldn't seem as serious They aren't supposed to be enthusiastic, just some info is enough. Seems like too much for me, sorry, no support.

Semi support. The change is not neccesary, but it may motivate kids.

No support, I think it's better as “Your project is now shared.” because it's supposed to be a statement.

I really don’t think a exclamation mark makes to much of a difference, and I agree that it should be more a statementyeah, but wouldn't it be more encouraging and make one more motivated? scratch is targeted towards kids so it shouldn't seem as serious They aren't supposed to be enthusiastic, just some info is enough. Seems like too much for me, sorry, no support.

Well, then doesn’t “happy birthday!” sound a lot better than “happy birthday.”?I really don’t think a exclamation mark makes to much of a difference, and I agree that it should be more a statementyeah, but wouldn't it be more encouraging and make one more motivated? scratch is targeted towards kids so it shouldn't seem as serious They aren't supposed to be enthusiastic, just some info is enough. No support. I don't see why the website needs to update this, as the purpose of the message is to inform you that the project was shared.

Well, then doesn’t “happy birthday!” sound a lot better than “happy birthday.”?[office reference]False. It is supposed to be “Is is your birthday.” [/office reference]
Yeah, that does sound better, but I don't think it's right to compare the levels of enthusiasm for a birthday and sharing a project. Sharing a project doesn't need to be so enthusiastic.

They already did that; “This project is not shared — so only you can see it. Click share to let everyone see it!” is the same thing.Well, then doesn’t “happy birthday!” sound a lot better than “happy birthday.”?I really don’t think a exclamation mark makes to much of a difference, and I agree that it should be more a statementyeah, but wouldn't it be more encouraging and make one more motivated? scratch is targeted towards kids so it shouldn't seem as serious They aren't supposed to be enthusiastic, just some info is enough. Well, it does make more sense if the banners punctuation match..They already did that; “This project is not shared — so only you can see it. “Happy birthday” should sound enthusiastic as it’s a good celebration. It also isn’t a statement.

The first banner isn’t a statement and is encouragement, so it just makes sense for that to be !.Well, it does make more sense if the banners punctuation match..They already did that; “This project is not shared — so only you can see it. Ahh, ok. my brain is in 2 parts right now. 1 is thinking that this is was meant to be a statement. the other is saying ‘This is way more encouraging, and for me, sharing a project is a big thing, as it means, i think i’ve made something good enough for people to see'. Semi support, my brains not able to decide.

Support. This could be done in 10 seconds and even if it would only make things a little bit better, it would be worth it
