I'm always confusing control blocks and variables.

What color would you suggest changing them to? They seem pretty distinct from variable blocks already

These are already distinct enough. If anything, events and control are the ones that would be confusing, and they aren't.

Grey seems a bit dull for Scratch, seeing it's target audience is young.

Maybe purple would work better?

Personally, I don't support. I can see the confusion, but in my opinion are pretty distinct already

Edit: Purple would probably me even more confusing, because the Sound and Looks category also use purple.

Actualy, I get the control blocks, event blocks, and variables messed up so i think changing one of these three would be good xD

Maybe making the control blocks and the variable blocks's colors more vibrant…

I mean some blocks have similar words in them, so maybe you could somehow mix them up?

When it comes to Control vs Variables though, the blocks are different enough that it doesn't seem likely to mix them up
