I'm not convinced that we would change a username for those two reasons. I feel like anyone who makes a username which is either inappropriate or hateful is instantly asking for trouble, and would likely cause problems on the website for more reasons than just the username.

Yeah - you could probably have that removed, but–from what I know–they just change it to your user ID.
