Reverting the updated is rejected.

We won't be changing it back since the way studios were operating was pretty much starting to get unsustainable for the website. We're open to suggestions that build on top of the one we have put in place, but conversion to old stuff is going to have to be a no-go.

Additionally,
Re-adding the “Invite Followers” tab is a dupe.
An option to give managers editing permissions is a dupe.
Keeping the 3.0 studios but removing the limits is a dupe.
Increasing the reply limit is a dupe.
Allowing New Scratchers to create studios is a dupe, along with allowing New Scratchers a limit of 3 studios.

There is no clear suggestion, hence the list of dupes. This topic honestly seems like it's a rant rather than a suggestion. The forums are not for rants.
Please read this sticky before making a topic about the 3.0 studios.

It was removed to prevent message spam. Many users were complaining because they got too many studio invites just because they were following someone.


The studio update does not need fixing. It functions as intended.

I agree with @-MistPool-. I find the update very limiting.

To make is easier, I'll make a list of things the update isn't letting me do:

- Create new studios on other accounts that are new, which is very limiting as I've wanted to start fresh accounts with new information studios

- Add my followers easily, which is also very limiting, and I've wanted to make studios and just gave up the idea because I figured it'd be too hard to get them noticed

- Create collaborations. As @-MistPool- said, users on this site like using teamwork and making collaborations. It is a very creative way to make friends and express your ideas. This is a HUGE limit and has greatly impacted my enjoyment of Scratch. Not allowing managers to edit the studio takes away a lot from having other managers

As @Maximouse said, the old studios had many purposes, allowing kids to be create and get a good use out of Scratch. Now, the studio is update is very limiting and it's made Scratch a far less enjoyable site. I believe this update can be improved so users can be more satisfied!
