There is a limit to the number of characters in the Instructions and Notes and Credits tabs. If you exceed this limit, the border around the textbox will turn yellow/orange and a popup will be displayed saying “Description is too long”.

The character limit is 5,000 characters.

there isn't one but on your profile and comment there is a 500 one

Test it out by typing something in the notes and credits/instructions and then copy-pasting it a bunch of times, There is a limit.

After some testing, it is 5000 characters.
