My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 13904.41.0, Chrome 91.0.4472.81, No Flash version detected

Ever since the studio update (I don't think this glitch has to do with the studios) but ever since the new update scratch has been freezing and basically not working for a few seconds (somewhere around 10) and running really slow. The bug hasn't happened as often ever since I first noticed it, but everything feels a little slower on everything BUT the studios. One time I was scrolling to the comments of my profile and it froze for 10 seconds, then went back to normal. I don't know if it has happened to anyone else, but the ST might have done something in the code that made it slower while working on the studio update. If you could look in on this, that would be great!

Not a Bug. The new studio updates has made scratch faster for me and other members of scratch, maybe it's an issue with your internet speed or browser?

Did the scrolling freeze? Then it's most likely an issue with your device, try restarting it after closing all applications.

Very very very unlikely, the main reason they did this was to improve performance and efficiency.

The scrolling wasn’t the only thing that froze, basically everything did. However, the studios do run a lot faster than they did before the update. I guess it could be because of my slow chromebook (lol) but it happens to me on other devices

Try this, does it solve anything? Can you share a video of this on YouTube or something so we can get a better look?
