change backdrop to [] vs change backdrop to [] and wait
Hello,
I am working on a project that has a backdrop based on the time of day. I noticed that there are two blocks that seem to change the backdrop:
What is the difference between the two blocks?
Thanks!

The switch backdrop to () and wait block is a Stack block and a Looks block. It functions similarly to the switch to backdrop () block, but this block waits for scripts under any when backdrop switches to () blocks to finish. This block is also similar to the broadcast () and wait block, because they both fire a user-driven event to start an action. It is basically almost the same function as
broadcast [ v] and wait

If the block was in 2.0 and you don't know what it does, you can always go into the 2.0 offline editor, right click on a block and click “help” for info
or just use the wiki that works too.Last edited by Thingied (July 10, 2021 18:59:58)
