I think I would like this more as a proposed redesign for the backpack than a new feature; This is much more akin to an actual backpack than the current design (does your backpack have everything arranged in a long line that you have to scroll through?).

Support. This is a really cool idea, I like how it would allow you to save sprites/sounds/backdrops without needing to use your backpack for everything. It'd help with organization a lot. As a digital artist, I'd probably use it to keep all my character references in one place. I could use the sound one to save music that I might want to use for a MAP, AMV, PMV, etc.

Edit: I added “backdrops” into “sprites/sounds/backdrops.”

Support. A lot of times you put stuff in your backpack to just briefly carry over, and sometimes the sprites you use frequently are pushed far into the backpack, and you can have easier access to specific sprites by putting them in the library/sorting them with files? Sort of?
