this update is actually not helping at all (not to mention how it looks disgusting on mobile)
all of the changes implemented to “help” were easily done before, because most people only promoted people they trust

I agree. If u r a manager u would just be a curator with a special status. And the manager chats are gone too. I think that scratch should change this.

many people, including myself, are considering leaving, and i wouldn't be surprised if this new update drives away many scratchers.

Exactly, all this new update does is hinder discussion and discourage users. Whoever came up with this clearly didn't think it through all the way.

Manager permissions should be toggled by the studio owner, as now trusted managers are useless and bad managers can still slip in and damage the biggest and most important part of studios, the projects.

Well I remmeber a lot of people (2018 perhaps) hated when they were invited to studios, all because they were following someone. Its annoying. And this is good. and on the ui there is no space for the followers bar.

Still existed before the update. I think most changes are ridiculous, but this one should absolutely stay.

I give this support. Also, if you can't see how many replies there are on a comment thread, then what's the point of the 25-reply limit? I know that the scratch team is working hard over the updates, but the 3.0 feeling feels like a 1.4 feel.
