Deleting Yourself From Studios
I'm surprised this hasn't been added yet. It seems a no-brainer: People move on from old interests all the time, and they may wish to leave ownership in the hands of someone more invested in the studio.

Agreed. Another scenario could be, someone owned a studio on one account and then moved to another one, so they want their new account to be the owner.

Support! Kind of like how the host can leave a Zoom meeting without it ending.

I actually might need this, it's happened before. Not that rare.He is the owner of the studio.I wish there was a way to delete yourself from a studio when you are the owner and make someone else the owner. Because there is a studio I created that I don't want to be part of anymore.
Why not just remove yourself as curator?
No support.
Anyway,
I do no support this suggestion because it will cause confusion and I do not see any people who need this other than you.
Have a good day.
Sincerely, @TheLibrary-BranchC

Full support! I've wanted a feature like this for a very long time.
Sometimes I want to leave a group, like you said, and have someone else continue it.
Or, an angle not a lot of you may have thought of, what if you change accounts and your previous account owns a studio that you really like? You don't want to have to change accounts to close comments, etc., plus you just want to have your new account own the studio (so people won't be like “Let me go talk to the owner” when you are the owner). So, you remove your old account from the owner position and add your new account! Voila!

Bump, this could be useful if someone wanted to leave Scratch but keep the studio alive. Or, if they wanted to transfer ownership to a new account.

Support, I have no idea why you're not allowed to step down from the owner position. Maybe a “switch ownership” button somewhere? And it would give the other user a message like "[username] has offered you to take control of their studio [studio name]."

Support. Now that managers have restrictions, I think its absolutely necessary. In case the the studio owner goes inactive, the studio wont be able to edit the description and other content. This might even prevent some users from leaving scratch! They might feel this as “a responsibility”.
If the owner goes inactive like that, then the studio members will likely create a new one. This just creates new unwanted studios for no reason.
